• Hoi An - The journey soon leads to tranquil countryside roads bordered by coconut palms and vegetable gardens, where locals cycle to the fields. Along the way, the guide shares stories of village life and explains how these communities maintain their traditions while adapting to tourism.
• Cẩm Kim - The first stop is a small family kitchen, where bánh bèo (steamed rice cakes) are traditionally prepared for breakfast. This offers a simple, delicious glimpse into rural life before continuing to one of Hoi An’s most picturesque villages. Here, a visit to a family home provides insight into the tradition of family chapels. The route then follows small canals and waterways to a wooden boat-building site. Fishing is vital to the province, and watching craftsmen handcraft hulls is a highlight for photographers. If the timing is right, families can be seen by the shore cleaning their fishing nets between sea journeys.
• Duy Vinh - The final stops include a family-run distillery where rice wine is still produced using traditional methods. Guests are welcome to sample a glass, or for the adventurous, try the stronger local version infused with herbs! Afterward, it’s time to ride back to Hoi An.
