• Bay Mau Coconut Forest - Coconut Forest where we will test the seafarer in you as you will take a ride in a bamboo basket boat giving you a chance to fish for crabs.

You will learn how locals throw out the big fishing nets and you will get to try this for yourself.

Your local guides will demonstrate their amazing skills at making watches, fish, and grasshoppers from coconut leaves which they will then give to you as souvenirs.

• Tra Que Vegetable Village - Tra Que Vegetable village where we will meet a local family to see how they live. Enjoy drinks made by them whilst they share stories about their lives in the village.

After our refreshment, they will demonstrate each task involved in the growing of vegetables. Then it is your turn to:

work the soil,
fertilise with seaweed, including stomping in the seaweed
sow the plants, and
water them with two watering cans in the traditional way.

Tour Program

8:00 a.m.: The tour guide will pick up guests from their hotel in Hoi An or Da Nang City and take them to Hoi An dock. From there, guests will board a covered boat to enjoy the breathtaking views along the Thu Bon River. This is a wonderful opportunity to capture beautiful photos and observe locals fishing and working using traditional methods and equipment.

Next, the tour proceeds to Coconut Village, where guests can row a traditional bamboo basket boat and explore the water coconut jungle, a historical site where the Viet Cong hid during the Vietnam-America war. Here, guests will learn about the local history.

Following this, guests will enjoy a fun ride on a water buffalo and have the chance to take photos with their family while riding the buffalo. The tour then continues to Tra Que Vegetable Village, where guests will meet a local family, observe their lifestyle, and participate in farming activities such as fertilizing with seaweed, stomping in the seaweed, sowing plants, and watering them with two watering cans in the traditional manner.

Afterward, guests will visit a local family to enjoy a delicious lunch featuring local cuisine. The tour concludes with a relaxing foot massage before guests are transported back to their hotel.
