Fun filled day with good mix of art, culture and adventure - This was our second tour with this company and had the pleasure of having MsVan as our guide again. She really knows how to make it special and fun! The day was hot but crusing around in the jeep was so fun and cool. The itinerary was changed to avoid the hottest part which was perfect. First up the pottery village. Probably my most favourite place. The beauty and texture of the buildings and village was unexpected. So much history and culture. I didn't even know it existed but honestly could have spent all day just exploring. We had the chance to make a little clay pot (with help) but guaranteed to look amazing. You can opt to have them fire it for 100,000 then we painted it. We then roamed around looking and learning about everything pottery and seeing all the ancient buildings and kilns. As part of the tour you get a little clay whistle animal as well which is based on your year of birth. Next up was the coconut village. I'd read and seen a few reviews on this and there were lots saying it was overrated and crowded but Ms Van had us all sorted and on a boat within minutes and it was SO SO FUN! The men and women are so funny and are constantly joking and laughing with each other and singing. There were quite a few boats around but for me it only added to the fun and atmosphere. There are a few other cool surprises along the way but I don't want to spoil it because it was honestly so fun! Definitely a must do! They know how to get really nice photos for you as well. Next up, buffalo meet and greet...he was such a gentle giant. I had reservations about riding him but he didn't seem to care at all and his owner clearly loved him. And this was all timed so that the sun was lower in the sky which made for the most amazing photos with the rice fields in the background. Then off to the herb farms. What a magical place. Rows and rows of aromatic herbs and veggies....just amazing. The little old lady we met for our gardening activity was so cute and funny! Such a character. She had us prepping, planting and watering. Was so special to be apart of her world. What a day! There was so much more that we did and saw... Highly recommend. Each time we've done a tour it always exceeds our expectations.
