Hoi An Ancient Town is pure magic! - Hoi An Ancient Town is pure magic! The lantern-lit streets, historic buildings, and riverside charm make it feel like stepping back in time. The local food is delicious, and the people are warm and welcoming. A must-see in Vietnam!

Hoi An: A must visit - A quaint place with small traditional colorful houses Each alleyway is unique and picturesque. The old traditional houses are very well maintained and converted to cafes and restaurants to cater tourism. The riverside road is where people start to gather as the sun sets in. Just walking by the river bank itself is a leisurely activity. One can stop by the cafes at the side and enjoy the boats with lights floating up and down along the river. The most delightful scenes are when all the boats and streets are alight with beautiful colorful lanterns.

Wonderfull place - Good place to roam around. Its a Historical place which sells all foods on the room/ street. Fresh and hot foods can be had. They can explore the traditional food of Vietnam. Its a great city to visit and need atleast 5-6hrs to walkthrough. we did boating and Lanterns light on the river wishing our wishes becomes true..

Bad experience in Hoi an - It was a very disappointing experience for us and represented very poor value for money. The tour guide June was 30 minutes late as she hadn’t been informed by the tour operator about a change in date which we made a month previously. June was sick with a cough so we asked her to wear a mask. We felt rushed and our guide tended to walk faster than we did. We went to two food places where the food was very good. The second place had a very large quantity of food. We therefore were filled up and not wanting to eat chicken rice which was next offered though we did have some beef noodle soup at another place which was about to shut up shop and we were the only customers. Two of the four of us had an ice cream and that was it - food tour over!! It was a total rip off . We had a similar food walk tour in HCMC which was superb. June did her best but was compromised by the Operator.
