The instructor will guide them through each step, from start to finish, on how to craft their own Hoi An lantern to take home and share with friends. A variety of silk colors are available for participants to select their favorite.
The unique aspect of these lanterns is their ability to fold easily, making them convenient to store in a bag. After the tour concludes, take home an original souvenir.
Once finished, these lanterns are simple to fold, carry, or pack in luggage. Bring back a delightful, handmade memento from your time in Hoi An.

Great Fun & Unique Souvenir - Great Fun!
Exactly what it says: in a typical 2 hour session you learn to make your own lantern (there is a choice of about 6 shapes) with help - as needed - from a great team of fun, patient people.
Apart from shape, there is a very, very large choice of fabrics - so you will be making your own "one off".
Finished lanterns can be folded flat for packing into your suitcase to take home. A really unique souvenir.
Had a ball! Highly recommend!

A really fun experience,... - A really fun experience, made more enjoyable by the enthusiasm of the family running the business. We made a lantern from scratch and were shown every process to making the lantern and we left with two beautiful collapsible lanterns which we customised. If you are in Hoi An this is a must do experience.

Fabulously fun lantern making - Great staff who made the activity really enjoyable. They supported us all patiently and calmly. The lanterns are brilliant - high quality resources and fabulous colours. I took 4 teenagers with me and we all loved it.

Ultimate Hidden Gem - This class was so fun to do, and the teachers were so fun and kind. I think we were all ready to leave with awful looking lanterns because it was just for fun, but they really took time with each of us to make sure we left with a piece we were proud of. Was so glad to have done the class, especially since it wasn't something on our list before coming but it definitely ended up being one of the highlights.

Cosy and fun way of getting a Hoi An Lantern Souvenir - Really good experience! The people working there were very nice and helped us build the lanterns. There were endless supply of refreshments (ice tea) and a little candy snack. Very cosy atmosphere. A fun way to take home a lantern from Hoi An while learning a new skill. It was also not that hard technically, so I'd imagine anyone could take the class with success.

Fun class and take-home lantern! - My girlfriend and I spent the morning (about 2 hours) making lanterns with our helpful teacher Lin! Very personal service and attentive instruction (I am not very crafts-y so appreciated the help!). We each got to choose the colour we wanted and look forward to putting them up at home!
