Great cooking class with emphasis on actual food preparation and cooking. - This is a cooking class well suited to those who are more interested in actual cooking techniques and ingredients rather than a class with add-ons like boat rides and market trips. Although I do believe you can add on a market trip to this class. Que was our instructor, she was well prepared and explained well what we had to do. It was a small class size only the three of us which suited me perfectly. In our class we made spring rolls, grilled mahi-mahi chicken.pho, mango sticky rice and banana blossom salad with chicken. I really enjoyed learning how to make the spring rolls properly, and for the first time of my life they actually looked quite good and appetising. Making the base for the soup was also interesting and how the shallots and ginger were charred over open flame before adding to the stock. My other big takeaway was how some of the bases and ingredients are reused or kept for other parts of the meal. It was fun, to the point, nothing extraneous just a well prepared class that was to the point. We sat down to eat the lunch, which was totally delicious . I can thoroughly recommend this cooking class for those interested in traditional Vietnamese cooking techniques.

Green Mango Cooking Experience - This was a fun experience, a little bit different from the noisy shopping that Hoi An can be. My "chef" was Hai Nguyen who took me through my paces. Although two persons are the minimum, for a small supplement you can go alone. After going to the market and learning to identify some foods (not known in the west) you are taken into the kitchen and led through all parts of the meal preparation. Note that when you book you have a choice of two menus, so it caters for most tastes. The option I chose had five dishes so it is very plentiful. Hair is charming, easy-going and patient !!. Highly recommended.

Hoi An cooking class at the Green Mango Restaurant with Jam - This class was sooo much fun. The staff were all great and our chef instructor Jam definitely made the experience that much more better. She was knowledgeable and very funny. We had a great time and learnt some things and we’ll definitely be replicating these dishes when we get home. A great and fun experience overall !!

Awesome cooking experience! - The cooking class was an awesome experience! Our Chef, Jam, did a great job of getting our group of 3 people to all participate and kept us on our toes with her sense of humour. Her English was excellent and she taught us really basic things like how to poach chicken properly. I can’t recommend this experience night if you are interested in cooking Vietnamese food when you go home. She ha sent us the recipes if the food we made with recommendations for swaps if the ingredients we used aren’t available at home.

Epic cooking class experience - SPRINT! Don’t walk! To this absolutely stunning cooking class - we didn’t really know what we were walking into as it was the first cooking class we had ever been to, but my god were we impressed! The food was spectacular, the ambiance timeless, and our chef-guide (Jam) charming and knowledgable. We were initially dubious as to whether a cooking class is worth the money they are asking for, but let us tell you it absolutely is! Would go back in a heartbeat and recommend this experience to anyone local in the area who loves good food and a fun time!

Fun and Satisfying - We had such fun learning Vietnamese cooking with Pinky. She showed such great patients while we fumbled through chopping, dicing and folding Spring Rolls. A great way to experience Vietnamese Culture and enjoy a great meal!

Highly recommended cooking experience - Highly recommended experience and would have given 5/5 if there was an option to do so. Our cooking class at Green Mango restaurant in Hoi A was a great experience from our visit to the markets to following our teachers instructions to cook our tasty lunch.
