Gorgeous nature at Fairy Pools, cool castle - David was a great tour guide, both funny and informative. He told us lots of history and stories about the areas we drove through. The Fairy Pools are absolutely gorgeous, even in the rain. Please note it's a strenuous hike. Wear appropriate shoes and dress for the weather. I do think that we could have used more time almost everywhere. At the Fairy Pools, I walked briskly and still didn't get as far down the hiking path was was possible, and I got back to the van right at the time we were supposed to leave. We also could have used more time for lunch, to see Portree and check out the shops. And at Eilean Donan Castle, again, there wasn't time to get a snack or peruse the shop. We had to leave the castle quickly and cut out some of the rooms because we realized the bus would be leaving in five minutes. My only other negative is that we really needed a "comfort stop" added at the end of the day. Two and a half hours is a long stretch to go without a bathroom break. Thank you, David, for a great day!
