- Kyleakin - The first stop on the Isle of Skye is Kyleakin, a charming village perfect for capturing photos of the magnificent Skye Bridge.
- Portree - Enjoy lunch in the lovely harbour town of Portree, but be mindful of the hungry seagulls! Portree is not only naturally beautiful but also rich in history and culture. Its name comes from the Gaelic “Port-an-Righ,” meaning “King’s Port,” highlighting its historical role as a royal port. Today, it is a lively community blending traditional charm with modern conveniences.
- Fairy Pools - Nestled at the base of the Cuillin Mountains, the Fairy Pools are a series of captivating, crystal-clear pools and waterfalls, offering an ethereal and magical atmosphere. A walk to these blue and green waterfalls is planned, and for the adventurous, a dip is possible! Comfortable walking shoes and a rain jacket are recommended in case of wet weather.
- Please note that during winter, weather conditions may occasionally prevent visits to the Fairy Pools. In such cases, our expert driver-guides will adjust the itinerary to suit the conditions, ensuring exploration of other highlights on the Isle of Skye.
- Sligachan Old Bridge - The Sligachan Old Bridge is a rustic historical landmark set against the stunning backdrop of the Cuillin Mountains on the Isle of Skye, creating an iconic scene that embodies the timeless beauty and rugged charm of the Scottish Highlands.
- Eilean Donan Castle - This historic and iconic Scottish castle is situated on a small island where three lochs converge, providing a breathtakingly picturesque setting that has made it one of Scotland’s most renowned landmarks. Visit the castle and enjoy the surrounding scenery.

Wonderful Experience - Wonderful day. Plenty of time to experience Portree and the fairy pools. Be advised it’s a bit of a hike to the fairy pools up and down hill so folks should be in decent shape to enjoy the walk.

Memorable day on the Isle of Skye - Steve inverness aye was our guide and facilitator. He was charming, engaging and loads of fun. We traveled as a family of 6 including 3 children aged 11,14, and 18. Steve took excellent care of us and made the trip loads of fun with his jokes and stories. Our middle is a birder as is Steve. We saw chuffinches, a buzzard and were on the lookout for Osprey and eagles. It truly was a trip that catered to all. Thanks to Steve.

True Highland experience - David, our driver and guide, gave us a full day of interesting details on all the places we visited, including the history. I especially liked the full story of Bonnie Prince Charlie. The Fairy Pools were beautiful, even with the misty weather, but one should be aware of the level of exertion to make the full walk - that last stretch on the way back is not easy for older travelers!! Loved the highland scenery and views, a great experience.

A must-see tour - This was one of the most memorable parts of our trip to Scotland. The Isle of Skye is simply gorgeous and the fairy pools are as beautiful as you'd imagine. We stopped to take photos all along the walk. We wish we had more time to stay on the Isle and are already planning for future visits.

A day on the Isle of Skye - Had a phenomenal day despite the rain and wind on the Isle of Skye. Out driver guide Andrew was a master storyteller and has so much history and knowledge to share about the Isle of Skye, as well as the history of the Highlands and Scotland. This was a magical day seeing so many sites.

Fun day for three generations - Traveled with my teenage daughter and 78 yr old mom. It’s a long day but definitely worth it. Well spaced breaks, interesting stories, amazing scenery. Natalie was a wonderful guide, informative but not overbearing. Nice 30-40 min walk to the Fairy Pools.
