- Glenmoriston - The Glenmoriston Footprints are a lesser-known yet significant site in Highland history and legend! In 1827, Finlay Munro preached here, leaving two footprints where no grass has grown since!
- Glen Shiel - Midway to Skye, we will pause at Cluanie Inn, nestled in the heart of the mountains. This stop offers restroom facilities for your convenience, and you might even spot a few Highland Cows!
- Sligachan Old Bridge - This charming 200-year-old bridge spans the river Sligachan, surrounded by the majestic black and red Cuillin mountains. The waters beneath are said to be blessed by fairies! Dip your face in for 7 seconds, and you might gain eternal beauty! We’ll also take a brief walk to some hidden pools and waterfalls nearby.
- Portree - After a busy morning, we’ll stop in Portree for lunch and a short stroll! You’ll have about an hour to explore Skye’s capital before we head north for an afternoon of breathtaking sights!
- The Old Man of Storr - Post-lunch, our first stop is a photo opportunity at the Old Man of Storr. This iconic rock formation is rich in myths and legends. The guide will lead you to a perfect spot for photos and share stories of the giant who once roamed these lands.
- Kilt Rock - Kilt Rock is a stunning cliff where the layered stone resembles a tartan kilt. Meallt Falls cascades from the loch above, crashing into the sea below. On clear days, you can enjoy spectacular views all the way to mainland Scotland.
- Quiraing - Possibly the most breathtaking viewpoint in the world. The Quiraing’s otherworldly landscape never fails to amaze visitors. Even after countless visits, it still gives chills on a clear day! If clouds obscure the view, the guide will suggest an alternative spot. Skye is called the “Misty Isle” for a reason!
- Eilean Donan Castle - On the return to Inverness, we’ll stop at the renowned Eilean Donan Castle for a photo opportunity. Restrooms are also available at this stop.
