• Wardlaw Mausoleum - Constructed in 1634, Wardlaw Mausoleum serves as the final resting place for the Frasers (Clan) of Lovat. Located in Kirkhill, Highland, Scotland, it is situated 8 miles west of Inverness.
• Urquhart Castle - Once among Scotland’s largest castles, Urquhart was a site of significant conflict during its 500 years as a medieval stronghold. Control of the castle alternated between the Scots and English during the Wars of Independence. The power struggles persisted, with the Lords of the Isles frequently raiding both the castle and glen until the 1500s.

The last government troops stationed here during the Jacobite Risings destroyed the castle upon their departure. Urquhart’s iconic ruins remain, offering insights into medieval times and the lives of its noble inhabitants.

• Great Glen Distillery - The Great Glen Distillery was founded by two friends during the first lockdown of 2020. Hotelier Daniel Campbell and renowned chef Adam Dwyer established the distillery in what was Daniel’s late mother’s shop, in the small Highland village of Drumnadrochit.
  Together, Daniel and Adam explored the idea of creating a distillery inspired by the local area, developing a recipe using local botanicals and water sourced from Loch Ness. They refined and released their signature Great Glen Gin in July 2021, named after the Great Glen fault line formed by glaciers over 10,000 years ago.
• Culloden House Hotel - Originally a 16th-century Jacobean Castle, parts of the house date back to this period. Various owners, from King Robert II to the Chieftain of the Macintosh clan, have claimed Culloden as their home. In 1625, Duncan Forbes purchased Culloden from the Macintosh Clan. Bonnie Prince Charles stayed here for three nights before the battle.
• Clava Cairns - Clava Cairns, or the prehistoric burial cairns of Bulnuaran of Clava, are a group of three Bronze Age cairns. They include passage graves, ring cairns, kerb cairns, and standing stones dating back 4000 years. The largest standing stone is said to have inspired Diana Gabaldon’s famous Outlander novel, now a popular TV series.
• Culloden Battlefield - The Battle of Culloden changed world history on April 16, 1746. The Jacobite army fought to reclaim the British throne from the Hanoverians for a Stuart King, while the British army was equally determined to prevent this. A fierce European war had reached Scotland, dividing families and setting clan against clan. The Jacobite campaign faltered on December 6 in Derby, 100 miles from London, when an irate Bonnie Prince Charlie was convinced to return to Scotland.
