On this 5.5-hour guided tour where you’ll also explore the habitat’s on-site botanical garden, as well as a coffee and cacao plantation. Chat it up with local farmers, learn about their organic methods and taste tropical fruit just plucked from a tree. Hotel transport from Punta Cana and Bavaro is included.

Educational,coffee,cocoa and monkey - It was very educational and our tour guide George was the absolute best in every way his humor on the trip there was so great.Well organized,monkeys were adorable.

Six&Savage - This was that best experience we had a good tour guide and driver. It was Jose and Ricardo were the best. Learning about the coffee chocolate and coconut was amazing I was scared to see the monkeys but it was a great experience for our group of six. Definitely a 10 out of 10 ❤️🌟🌟🌟

Great tour. - The experience was great. Interacting with the monkeys was something I would do again. The bus driver on bus B 41 Nate he was a good driver and gave very good information. This is something that I would do again.

Amazing time at Monkeyland! - This was such a fun experience for both my partner and I! Edy’s wit and depth of knowledge really shined—he shared tons of interesting history and fun facts (also, shoutout to Leo, our awesome driver!). The monkey interactions were the star of the show—adorable, curious, and definitely a little mischievous (especially when food's involved). We also got a crash course in how local coffee and chocolate are made, complete with samples that felt like a tropical version of Costco. Highly recommend for families, couples, or anyone who wants a dose of joy on their trip! We bought so many things from the Souvenier shop and it was all at a reasonable price, even got some Mamajuana for my dad!.

Great adventure!!! - My family went on this excursion and it was a blast. We had so much fun. The learning about the Dominican culture, coffee and chocolate was a nice addition to this excursion. We loved it and highly recommend it.

Much needed getaway with my Husband. - The cacao and coffee tour was amazing. Monkey Land was an amazing experience from start to finish. The view is so beautiful. Thanks to Roy and Albert for giving me and my husband a amazing experience. Thanks to Wilbert our Hotel Transportation tour guide for making our ride not only safe but fun. Would I visit Monkey Land again? Yes I will, loved it.

Amazing experience!!! - Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish! Our guide was Angel, and the driver was frandy!
Angel is so knowledgeable and passionate about his beautiful country! We learned so much from him and he’s honestly one of the best tour guides we have ever had having travelled most of the Caribbean islands!
The monkeys were lovely, the coffee and cocoa we sampled was stunning!
Overall a great experience and we would do it again when we come back!
Thank you Angel and team for an amazing day, we love your country!

Amazing trip a definite must do - Wonderful trip out from the resort, first of all the only slight negative is we were picked up at 7:0am and had to do the whole hotel hopping thing to pick up other guests which was a bit dull and the problem picking up first. But this was a tiny insignificant non issue really as once you arrive at the meeting venue the fun starts, our guide was great funny and informative and it was pleasant driving through some of the smaller towns, the park itself was modern clean and welcoming and after the usual safety instructions we went into see the monkeys and there were amazing fun little critters with no sense or caring for personal space lol which makes for an incredible up close and personal experience and we had far longer with them than we expected. After this you get a demonstration on how coffee and chocolate is made which I’ll be honest sounded a bit dull and just there to pad the day out, but the presenters were genuinely funny and entertaining and we very much enjoyed this as well, highly recommended and not an exhausting day (left at 7:00am back by 1:30pm) an absolute must if you love animals and are in the area

Monkeyland - We had a wonderful experience with plenty of pictures. They took pictures as well as allowed you to take your own photos. If you asked for help with taking your own pictures with the monkeys, they would give you more food to get the monkeys on you.
Sammie and Edison provided a safe and cultural drive to and from the excursions. Sammie had plenty of good jokes thrown in.

Transport ruined the experience for us. - First off I want to make it clear that Monkeyland and the staff were 10* and what an incredible experience!
We could use our own phones, they weren’t pushy and we had a brilliant time.
The transportation was the major factor for my review and the way they handled my complaint.
We booked using Otium which I assume is fairly well known excursion company as they were everywhere.
In a nutshell it took 2hrs and 15 mins to do an hour drive, no communication or explanation for this, it was stifling hot and there were babies on.
Truck was open sided so no air con and was an uncomfortable ride at best.
We were infact so late that Monkeyland rung the guide and asked where we were as people were waiting.
Once we had done the experience, monkey land closed the gates and locked up to go home, we however had another hour sat in a hot hut with the fans tuned off whilst they tried to sell us cocoa beans and coconut oil from the plantation-
This would hands been very welcomed had it not been later than we all expected, sitting in our own sweat and still no offer of drinks.
The trip home only took an hour which goes to show it can be done, I complained as it totally ruined the experience for us and was told pretty much ‘tough’ there was traffic and no reimbursement will be made.
Do yourself a favour, book your own transport and you’ll have a brilliant time.
