It was as a great... - It was as a great experience…. We had great tour guides (Jack & Buck) who made the trip fun and memorable….you could tell they were quite knowledgeable about the area. And our 2 novice watercraft drivers were able to learn and handle the creek cats in no time.

LOL fun! - My husband, 2 teenage sons and I participated in this experience. My husband & I drove. It takes a little getting used to to steer the boat. I found returning to the slip to be the most challenging part of driving. It's a solid 2 hour trip. As a woman with not a lot of upper body strength, I found my left arm for steering was getting tired near the end. I was having to use both arms to steer at times. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Max & Ryan were our tour guides & they are awesome. Be prepared to get wet! We got completely soaked 3 times. Strongly recommend place car keys, phones, etc. in dry box. I wouldn't trust anything to stay in my pockets. It is a bumpy ride at times. Would not recommend if you get motion sickness. There are 2 restaurants nearby with outdoor seating. We ate outside to dry off and eat lunch before leaving.

Fun and lengthy ride but didn't see much wildlife - The guides were very knowledgeable and friendly! The only reason I'm giving it a 4 out of 5 is because I was under the impression we were taking this type of boat to more remote spots that would enable us to see more animals in nature. Taking these higher speed cats was a lot of fun, but we struggled to catch a glimpse of things as we were racing by. There were no stops where we could see oysters, turtles, schools of fish, etc. Just whatever we happened to catch during the ride. Which, for the driver, it's difficult to do much more than keep to your spot in the line of cats, and steer/manage through the wakes of the boats ahead. I guess it's just a matter of what you're signing up for - a fast boat you control and tool around in the hope of seeing something, this is your excursion!

Not good on waves. - The waves are terribly bumpy and uncomfortable on this type of vehicle. Our ice box in front given for added weight balance almost flew off due to the bumps and we had to hold it in place by a foot. There was no instruction on how to deal with the waves either. It is not like a jet ski wave runner which is designed for waves and is very comfortable. The creek cat is designed for a flat lake, because they essentially have two paddle boards attached together. Paddle boards are not good on waves at all. It was a jarring experience too. The guides were nice and knowledgeable though.
