Awesome Sani Pass and Lesotho experience! - We had a great day with Peter, who is a very wholesome and funny person and a great teacher. Seen and learned a lot. Also we were very lucky to see a serval, which was Peter's sixth sighting in 14 years! Thanks Peter and Team!

Awesome day on Sani Pass - We did the private day trip of Sani Pass. I arranged everything via WhatsApp within 5 min. The guys are super responsive. The next day, they picked us up at our hotel on-time. Comfortable car, very friendly and knowledgeable guide. He drove extremely smoothly which is very hard on the gravel road of Sani Pass! We could stop wherever we wanted to take photos etc. Fair, competitive price. Couldn't have asked for more.

Awe-inspiring vistas - The season and weather conditions couldn't have been better for this spectacular drive to the roof of Africa through the Sani Pass. The scenery was incredibly beautiful -- the hillsides covered in a carpet of green, and punctuated with beautiful wildflowers and colourful birds flitting from bush to bush. The road itself was a test of our driver's skills -- rock-strewn and steep, only suitable for a rugged 4X4 -- but an exhilarating ride, particularly during the series of hair-raising switchbacks as you reach the top. At the top, we entered Lesotho and were greeted by the friendly "Blanket People" and visited a village to taste their local bread, capped off by a tasty lunch (and great local beer!) at Africa's highest pub (2,874 mètres ASL)...and then the ride back! It was a long day (the ride to-from Durban is about 6-7 hours, return, and the tour from Underberg to Lesotho lasts about 5 hours), but it's a once-in-a-lifetime experience and we highly recommend it.

sani pass and lesotho - Patrick was an exceptional tour guide and made our Sani Pass and Lesotho experience truly unforgettable. He has a deep and thorough knowledge of the region — not only its historical significance, but also the geology, natural environment, and wildlife of the Sani Pass and surrounding Drakensberg mountains. His explanations added so much depth to every stop along the way. He was also incredibly thoughtful throughout the day, offering to take photos for us without being asked — and he turned out to be a great photographer, which we really appreciated. To top it off, we later ran into Patrick at the Underberg Country Club and ended up having dinner together, which led to fantastic conversation and a genuinely memorable evening. He’s personable, engaging, and clearly passionate about what he does. Five stars without hesitation. I would absolutely recommend Patrick to anyone looking for a high-quality, enriching Sani Pass and Lesotho experience.

Cool tour with grand views - We really liked the tour. The view is magnificent and the guidance from Patrick was very nice. An experienced guide who tells all about the origins of the Drakensberg and the Basotho tribe. Nothing is rushed and together we were lucky enough to spot quite a few animals. If we have to mention a small minus, we found the village where we have been small. We would have liked to see more villages. But I don't think there was time for that either. Very much enjoyed, baie thank you!
