• Fukuromachi Elementary School Peace Museum - Located just a few hundred meters from the atomic bomb’s hypocenter, this museum is housed in a school building that survived the blast, serving as a poignant reminder of nuclear warfare’s tragedy.

• Former Bank of Japan Hiroshima - This historic building, close to the hypocenter, survived the atomic bombing on August 6, 1945. Despite severe damage, it remained standing and was used as a temporary emergency shelter, playing a role in Hiroshima’s recovery. It is now a symbol of resilience and recognized as a hibaku building (atomic-bombed building).

• Assumption of Mary Cathedral - Also known as the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Cathedral, this is the main Catholic church in Hiroshima. Built after World War II as a symbol of peace and reconciliation, it was designed by Japanese architect Togo Murano and completed in 1954, funded by global Catholic donations, especially from Germany. Located near the atomic bomb’s hypocenter, it serves as a place for prayer, reflection, and remembrance.

• Shukkei-en Garden - A beautifully restored Japanese garden, originally designed for feudal lords, renowned for its seasonal beauty and surviving A-bomb trees.

• Hiroshima Castle - A reconstructed feudal castle originally built by Mori Terumoto, now featuring a museum on Hiroshima’s samurai-era history.
