Beautiful Instrument, Engaging Workshop - I loved this workhop experience! Vincent was a friendly and patient teacher and guide for learning a bit about this beautiful instrument, the koto. I wasn't expecting to also be exposed to a new musical notation system, so that felt additionally special to me. Step by step, we took on an original song that has become the soundtrack to my Hiroshima experience. And yes, you can do it even if you don't play any instrument (I don't). I enjoyed this workshop so much! Arigato gozaimasu to the organizers!

Unique, fun and amazing experience! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. - I was the only participant, so this became a private lesson. My instructor, Tiffany, was patient, skilled, excellent, and a wonderful teacher. You learn how to play the Koto and then you play a one-of-a-kind peaceful song that is dedicated to the history of Hiroshima. Tiffany explaiend the history of the Koto and answered all of the questions I had. If you are on the fence about this experience, I would say definitely DO IT. You will not regret it because this (to me) feels like a once in a lifetime experience to have someone teach you how to play Koto as a touris!

Great traditional Japanese instrument experience - Had a blast getting a lesson in playing the koto, given by Hanz! Great fun to learn a bit about the history of this traditional instrument, but of course especially to get a chance to play it :). Hanz was very helpful and made me feel completely at ease during the lesson. Thanks for this wonderful experience!!
