Shoot your heart out! - It was an amazing experience! Got great help during the event and got the chance to shoot many arrows. Despite the language barrier they were great at using translating tools and there were never any misunderstandings. Reccomended for all who wants a taste of traditional japanese culture!

One of our favorite experiences in Hiroshima! - We visited Hiroshima about a year ago and were reminiscing about the trip when we realized this archery session was one of our absolute highlights. The instruction was clear and thoughtful—even though we don't speak Japanese, the instructor communicated everything so well that we learned a lot and noticeably improved during the session. It was fun, engaging, and a great way to experience something unique to Japan. Highly recommended!

So much fun - We had such a great time on this family outing! We went with our two kids, ages 11 and 18, and everyone truly enjoyed it. The historical aspect was fascinating and added a unique learning experience for all of us. Plus, it was indoors and comfortably air-conditioned, which was perfect for escaping the 95-degree summer heat. This is definitely an activity I’d recommend to families looking for fun and something a little different!

worth it - As someone who loves and works in the archery industry it was amazing to learn a different cultures sport. Our instructor was outstanding. Despite the language barrier the communication was easy. He told us about japans archery history and the little details of bow and arrow materials. My husband and I truly enjoyed the experience. If you get the chance I suggest going.

Great and Informative Class - I bought this and I was the only one in the class due to it being the off-season, turning it into a private teaching! The instructors were very nice, understanding, informative, knowledgable and patient. They let you wear the archery garb and also teach you step-by-step how to use the bow and arrow. I felt very safe and never felt like the sport was dangerous. The instructors were very smart and experienced. They were able to answer all of my questions, and I had a lot of fun. Recommend for families, friends, and even solo travelers.

A Great Way to Immerse Yourself in Japanese Culture - The two instructors were exceedingly nice, helpful, and encouraging. There are many steps to shooting, but the instructors help and guide you with each step. They helped us experience a part of their culture and gave us more information about the history and current status of archery in Japan. We are very appreciative and happy that we were able to have this experience.

Awesome experience loved it! - Best experience we've had so far in Japan. If you want to disconnect and relax from a busy holiday schedule this activity surely helps! You have to aim your focus on what you’re doing and the instructor is so nice and calmed! I totally recommend this activity for couples. They give you a uniform to wear and feels like the real deal.

Unique experience that was definitely worth it. - The experience takes about an hour. So. E prepared to get a sore hand/arm if you have never done this before! But don’t let this stop you! It was definitely a highlight for our daughter. At the beginning the steps for notching the arrow might seem a little overwhelming but you soon get the hang of it. The instructors were very sweet and patient and tried very hard to help, we loved that you got dressed in the kyudo uniform. That added to the experience!
