Great diving exper - Just finished 5 dives with West Bay Divers and it was the best diving I have experienced in Mexico and Caribbean A shout out to dive master Arturo who made our diving experience so good that i only planned on a single dive but came back for 4 additional dives over 3 days. Arturo took care of all equipment and everything was prepared for us for a relaxing and seamless experience. The equipment was the best I have experienced thus far and the service was spectacular. To further enhance my diving experience I was able to take my wife along (she is not a diver) and snorkel with a guide just for her and she loved it. The crystal clear water and abundant marine life is the best I have experienced in my 40 years of diving. I would recommend them to anyone whether they are just beginning or experienced.

Fun diving with West Bay divers - Had a great 4 days diving with Takeshi who found all sorts of interesting critters like Sea Horses. Also a night dive. They have a very slick Organization with excellent gear and set everything up for you. Guide to diver ratio at most was 3:1!

Gets better and better. - What a great place to dive at. Yushi was great. You can tell everyone there loves to dive and share it with others. That was my second time with them and I’ll come back again soon.

West Bay Divers - Great Experience all around. They handle your fitting for a wet suit and weights and everything else in the first day and you are set to go for the rest of your dives you plan to do in the coming days. Takeshi was a great dive guide, very knowledgeable and took great care of all of us. The reefs and surrounding dive sites are all incredible.

Amazing diving and overall experience. - Takeshi was awesome. Love that fact that they keep your gear all set up each day and you’re with the same guide every day. The staff are all really friendly and knowledgeable. We went on 6 different dives and each site was very unique. I often have issues with my ears and Takeshi was really patient and let me go at my pace so my ears could equalize. The groups are all nice and small - between 2 and 5 people. Highly highly recommend this to anyone - if you’re just learning or if you’re experienced. The dive shop is really nice and in a great location.

Kiana is the best! - I had the best experience with west bay divers. I don’t have a ton of experience (30ish dives), but this is the best dive shop I’ve used so far. The scheduling was typical for what I’ve experienced in the past, emails and a vague idea of what I’ll be getting up to, with a more detailed plan that comes together once I’m at the dive shop and can talk in person. Kiana was a fantastic dive buddy and SO helpful throughout my trip. I never had to touch my gear and they took such great care of everyone on the boat. I wouldn’t recommend the shark dive at the other dive shop, but other than that everything I did was amazing! Highly recommend the night dives. Thanks to Kiana for making it such an amazing trip. I can’t wait to go back!

Abner and weat bay divers are the absolute best!!!! - I cant say enough good things about West Bay divers!!!!!. We also have to give a shout out for our dive master Abner, who was an incredible!!! . We felt safe, which is obviously the highest concern, but beyond that he was enthusiastic and warm, friendly at all times, and incredibly excited to share all of the natural beauty of Roatan. We saw octopus, turtles, hundreds of different fish, rays, you name it! The whole time Abner laid out our dive plan and made sure that we all understood. He gave special attention to all of us as needed. Abner is the absolute best! The staff was friendly and helpful. And the prices were very reasonable from what we have seen. All of the equipment is top-notch cressi equipment that you can watch the staff maintaining before, and after every dive meticulously. The place was clean and modern, and the boats absolutely beautiful and clearly also well maintained. It was just a short boat ride from the dock to all the dive spots. We did five dives in our time here and never went to the same place twice. If you’re the kind that can get seasick (me!!!), this is a great place to go, as there aren’t long choppy dive rides to get to where you’re going. The weather was beautiful, the water is calm, and the current pretty much nonexistent. High praise to West Bay divers and again to our incredible dive master Abner!

Diving in Roatan, HD - West Bay Divers absolutely exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the operation was smooth, professional, and genuinely welcoming. The staff runs a tight ship without ever making it feel rushed or impersonal. Our dive master, Takeshi, was outstanding—calm, highly skilled, and incredibly attentive. His briefings were clear and thorough, his underwater awareness was exceptional, and he has a great way of making every diver feel confident and relaxed. He knew exactly where to find the marine life and positioned the group perfectly so everyone got great views without feeling crowded. You could tell immediately that safety, enjoyment, and respect for the reef were his top priorities. The dives themselves were spectacular—healthy reefs, great visibility, and an amazing variety of sea life. The boats were well-maintained, the gear was in excellent condition, and everything ran on schedule without feeling rigid. If you’re diving in Roatán, West Bay Divers is a no-brainer. Professional, friendly, and world-class diving—made even better by an exceptional dive master. We wouldn’t hesitate for a second to dive with them again.

Wonderful dive trip - This is my 9th trip to Roatan and with West Bay Divers! I trained with this shop in 2023 and keep coming back because of Joel and the amazing captains and staff. Having dived in different countries now, I realize how top notch and concierge this shop is. Joel goes out of his way to show us new places and new creatures under the water. I highly recommend this shop to all levels of divers.

The gear is in excellent condition, and you can use it anytime to snorkel right off the shore. Joel goes above and beyond every single time. Not only is he an incredible dive master with a deep knowledge of the reefs and marine life, but he also captures stunning underwater photos and videos during your dives and shares them with you afterward. It’s such a fantastic way to remember the dives. The entire staff is warm, professional, and genuinely passionate about what they do. You feel like part of the family from the moment you walk in.
