- Cu Chi Tunnels - We depart Ho Chi Chi Minh City in the morning to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, known for its role in the anti-American resistance during the Vietnam War and now seen as a symbol of heroism. With over 220 km of underground tunnels, it’s a popular tourist attraction for both Vietnamese and foreign visitors. The scenic route from Ho Chi Minh City to Cu Chi passes through the local countryside, offering sights such as ducks and buffalo along the river. Despite its tranquil appearance today, it’s hard to imagine the destruction caused by bombing and mines in the past, when Cu Chi was designated as a “free target zone.”\n- My Tho - After investigating the tunnels, we’ll head to My Tho, a province in the Mekong Delta region. We’ll embark on a boat ride along the upper Mekong and witness the Four Animal Islands named after creatures in Buddhist lore: Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Turtle. On this portion of the tour, you’ll get a glimpse of local Vietnamese life and how it is tied to the river.\n\nLater, we’ll take you on a rowboat excursion through the narrow waterways, showcasing the fertile agriculture of the delta with its fruit orchards, coconut plantations, and beekeeping farms. During the tour, you’ll have the opportunity to taste honey tea, seasonal fruits, fresh coconut candy, and enjoy southern Vietnamese folk music.\n\nFinally, we’ll return to Ho Chi Minh City and drop you off at your hotel around 6:30 PM.

A day in South Vietnam that I'll never forget - The Cu Chi Tunnels tour was truly an amazing experience. Our guide, Captain Bruno, was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining--sharing with us the details of the daily life in the tunnels, showing us the bunkers, weapons, guerilla tactics that all gave us a much better understanding of the war.
The Mekong Delta was equally as good. We experience food, music, dance, traditional boat travel and of course the snake wine. It all gave us a much better appreciation for the South Vietnamese culture.
Our guide, Captain Bruno, made it all the more informative and entertaining. He was insightful, funny, good looking (he made us say that) but truly treated us like friends. He looked out for everyone in our group all day--12 hours--to make sure we each were getting the most possible out of our day and experience.

Tour of South Vietnam - Absolutely outstanding tour guide!
Our guide truly made the experience unforgettable. Bruno was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate, bringing every stop to life with fascinating stories and local insights you just can’t get from a guidebook. The pace was perfect, questions were always welcomed, and he went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt included and comfortable.
I walked away having learned so much and feeling like I’d experienced the place through a local’s eyes. I can’t recommend him highly enough. If you get the chance to tour with him, don’t hesitate!

5 Star Tour that we absolutely LOVED! - An incredible and educational tour to the Cu Chi tunnels and the Mekong Delta’s unicorn island.
Our tour guide, Bruno, was very knowledgeable and funny! He made the tour worth every minute of the full day. He took pictures of all of us and shared them with us afterwards. So helpful!
The tunnels were fascinating. The displays and Bruno’s explanations brought the history to life which we really appreciated.
The Mekong delta was full of many authentic experiences. My favorite was the honey and the coconut candy!
Highly recommend booking this tour!!

Fantastic full-day tour – insightful, relaxed, and beautifully run - We had an absolutely wonderful day with Max and our driver. It was a long day, but incredibly rewarding — we saw so much, ate some fantastic food, and gained a genuine insight into local life and culture.
What we really appreciated was the pace and approach. In many ways it felt like “forced relaxation” for us, which turned out to be exactly what we needed. Everything was thoughtfully organised, allowing us to simply experience the day without feeling rushed or overwhelmed.
We wouldn’t usually describe ourselves as “war people,” but we are so glad our agent included this tour. It added real depth and context to our visit, and Max’s knowledge and easy manner made the experience engaging and meaningful throughout.
A big thank you to Max and our driver for such a memorable day — we couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to the local culture. Highly recommended.

An exhilarating, emotional full-day outing - so glad I did it! - I appreciate how the tour was broken up into 2 major sections: tunnels (AM) and river/food (pm). The tunnel presentation and experience is heavy and somewhat emotional - and I respect and expected as much. I appreciated that our guide (Tu - excellent) has personal family history/experience associated with the American war. He was straightforward, transparent and honest — and he set expectations upfront, which I appreciated.
The rivier boat and food part of the tour are satisfying and fun. Seeing how candy was made and experiencing bee farming, a live python and the exotic tropical fruits was amazing and fun.

The guide, Ms Tiny, makes all the difference. - It was a wonderful day trip to Cu Chi Tunnels and the Mekong Delta. What made the difference was the guide, Ms Tiny, who accompanied us. I have not come across such an affectionate, helpful, knowledgeable guide in our vast travel experience in Southeast Asia. She will, we are sure, make the tour company proud. We wish her all the best.

Bruno is a star - Great tour! Would highly recommend this tour to anyone interested to explore Cu chi tunnel and Mekang Delta.
Bruno was fantastic. He has got a great sense of humor. He kept us engaged and entertained with his funny jokes. He looked after all of us in the group throughout the day.
