The best tour guide - Tin - Had a wonderful day with this tour that we booked in Klook! Our guide, Tin, was very good – friendly, knowledgeable, and funny. He explained everything clearly, from the history of the Cu Chi Tunnels to the culture along the Mekong River. The Cu Chi Tunnels part was eye-opening, and the Mekong Delta was peaceful and relaxing. Loved the boat ride, fresh fruits, and honey tea. Everything was well-organized, and the pace was just nice. Highly recommend this tour for first-time visitors to Vietnam. And thank you, Tin, for making the trip extra enjoyable!

Good tour for when short on time - A good way to see both if you don't have much time in HCMC, Kelvin our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. He gave us a brief history of Vietnam and the area on the way to the Cu Chi tunnels, Kelvin kept the day interesting and fun. Lunch was delicious, not a bad dish served! Especially the fish, highly recommend. Mekong Delta was a 2hr drive to get to, I think to get the full experience you're better off seeing it separately but it was good for the time we had there

Mekong River and Kuchi Tunnel - It was very easy to understand because Mr. Lee, a staff member, explained it in Japanese. It was a day where we could have many different experiences and it was very fun 🌟

Messy but good - If you have a very limited time in HCMC then this is a good option. Hotel pickup was a disaster. They said pickup would be at 7:30, they finally got there at 8:15. The operator never confirmed my pickup location despite Viator confirming it which led to so much confusion. Different guides and managers were calling my phone so incessantly I couldn’t use my phone for anything, and they seemed annoyed having to pick me up from my hotel despite me choosing that at the time of booking. I was the only one who had booked the full day option, so after the city tour I was transferred to a restaurant for the included lunch (fine and filling but nothing to write home about) and ate alone. I was shocked I had to pay more for a bottle of water. I thought something like water would have been included in the price. Another guide called my phone 5 or 6 times while I was eating but I got picked up fine. The “rest stop” that is halfway to the tunnels is a workshop for art that’s supposedly run by disabled people. It’s honestly very sketchy and I made the mistake of buying something for almost 50 USD when you can find identical pieces all over HCMC. I would NOT recommend making a purchase as the guide there wouldn’t fully answer questions regarding where the money was actually going, and was evasive when answering questions. I’m guessing tour operators make some kind of commission from this place if someone buys something. The place is called Handicapped Handicrafts and while the idea is nice, the google reviews speak for themselves. If you’re prone to motion sickness, I’d strongly recommend you bring medication that works for you as the van ride around the city and to the tunnels is very jerky due to traffic. Bug repellent would also be a good idea for your time at the tunnels as there are lots of mosquitoes. Learning about the tunnels and the history behind them was fascinating, and our guide had a wealth of knowledge. I wouldn’t suggest going into the tunnels if you have any form of joint problem. I have back and knee problems, and Our guide mentioned that I had a “good, healthy body” as I emerged from the tunnels, and as a solo female traveler it made me so uncomfortable. That type of comment wasn’t made to anyone else in the group, and definitely not to another woman in our group traveling with her significant other. Our guide also asked and almost pleaded for a good review numerous times, to the point I felt the need to mention it here, and one of them complained about previous reviews. All in all, the value for money was incredible, and I would recommend this full day to anyone with limited time.
