Highly recommended! - Small group, personal and truly insightful. The home cooked lunch and the peaceful canals we rowed through, omg I felt like I was discovering hidden corners of the Mekong Delta. Can’t even describe how grateful I am to Po Po (our tour guide) his energy was unbelievable. from the moment I got in the van at 7AM until the end of the day 6PM, he was constantly engaging, sharing stories from his personal experience and giving us thoughtful updates about life in the Mekong. on the land, the golden pagoda and its stunning architecture immediately caught my eye, especially the three massive Buddha statues that really stand out. When taking the boat to the island, it's best to wear sneakers because there’s quite a bit of walking to explore all the activities. The rowing boat ride was definitely my favorite part. There were just two couples and me on this tour (I heard the max is 10), which made it easy to connect with everyone, including the guide. Way better than those massive tour buses you see everywhere. Definitely worth every dollar!

Ecellent! - Brilliant day out! Loved the lesser-known canals linied with coconut palms, so peaceful compared to busy tourist spots. The boat rides through the narrow waterways felt absolutely magical. Mr. Po was our tour guide and also the owner of the tour company, made it a truly memorable day. He gave us a real look iinto everyday local life and even shared insights on some of the economic challenges in the region. This was our third time visiting Vietnam, but our first time in Saigon and the South, and also our first time with Joy Journeys. Honestly it was the best tour we’ve ever taken. From the very first chat to the follow up after the tour, everything was professional and genuinely caring. Much better than the crowded tours my mates did. Highly recommend if you want authentic Mekong experience without the tourist traps.

Mekong delta experience - We really enjoyed the tour. Our guide, Huy, was funny and friendly with us. We saw the life of the locals in the Mokong Delta and were served a very good lunch, for all tastes, made by the locals. We ate fruits and saw the coconut candy factory where we also did a tasting. It is a good choice to spend a day in the surroundings of Ho Chi Minh City.

Day to discover the main mekong farms - Nice day in the company of Ken, our guide. The itinerary is different from traditional tourist routes, so a little less crowded and without floating markets. We visited a small brick factory, a chocolate factory and a coconut factory. Ken explained everything to us precisely and in detail. After a short bike ride to a village and a stop to see (and try) how bamboo mats are made, we arrived at a family where we had lunch. Local food, with some rolls prepared on the spot by a hygiene-conscious lady. Very nice boat trips, both motor and rowing. Pleasant to be in a small group.

A great authentic experience - Our tour guide, Ken was awesome. Great communication and pick up was on time. There were only 6 people on our tour which made it great as some tours had 20+, it felt like a private tour. What we liked was there was a lot of variety on the tour from honey tasting, coconut candy making (we bought 6 bags), mekong boat tour and a massive lunch with local family. Lots of informative dialogue along the way. It was a hot day and plenty of drinks were supplied. Thank you and well done Ken and driver.

Mekong River Tour with Vy - We had a marvelous experience, four people all from Florida seeing the beauty and learning the culture. Our guide.Vy was exceptional teaching us some of the language and informing us of every aspect of our tour. Then to top it off, she took photos and videos and sent them all to us.
