Interesting! - We didn't actually plan to go to Cu Chi coz our stay in Ho Chi Minh was only for a 12 hr layover. My option was only the war museum but good thing my husband was eager to go to Cu Chi. We booked this tour through our hotel TRitz on the same day. So glad to have been there. Our ride was comfortable, driver (so sorry to forget the name) was pleasant and good. I learned a lot from our guide Huong. Such a very interesting tour, it gives you a glimpse of the life of a VietCong. Plus, the free banh mi was the best I had so far.

Great experience visiting Chu Chi Tunnels - During my first time visit to Vietnam and Ho Chi Minh City I booked a solo trip to see the historical Cu Chi Tunnels. It was a great experience being guided by my professional guide, Kate. I learnt many facts about the Vietnam war. The hardships and the ingenuity of the fighters were amazing! We also had interesting conversation about Vietnam in general, its people, religion and how it has developed since the war ended in 1975. The tour also included a visit to a handicraft center where people suffering from disabilities caused by the chemical warfare during the war are showing off impressive skills creating the most beautiful products. The trip facilities - the car, the driver etc also contributed to a great experience! I can warmly recommend VN Bike Tours when visiting Ho Chi Minh!

Eye Opening Tour! - Our hotel concierge booked a last minute private Cu Chi Tunnels Tour with VN Bike Tour and we couldn't have been more pleased. We were picked up in a comfortable and clean car with a safe driver who's been with the company for many years. Our guide was a young lady named Kate who was very pleasant, fun and knowledgeable. On our way we stopped by at the Handicapped Handicrafts where handicapped artisans create beautiful art which are sold in the gift shop. The sales help support these artisans who many are second and third generation Vietnamese affected by agent orange exposure. After that we headed to the tunnels with Kate giving us insight into the history of the country, the tunnels and the perseverance of the soldiers. The location is well organized with props to show how the soldiers lived and sustained themselves in that environment. You can experience the tunnels which were a little claustrophobic. It was an eye opening experience and a tour we won't forget. Thank you Kate! Highly recommended!
