Rich in colonial history, the town boasts some of Australia’s oldest and most significant heritage sites. Highlights include the renowned Richmond Bridge, constructed by convicts in 1825 and still in use, and the Richmond Gaol, one of the country’s oldest intact prisons offering insights into early colonial life.
As you wander through the village, you’ll encounter beautifully preserved Georgian buildings, antique shops, galleries, cafes, and delightful cottages. Richmond offers a journey back in time.

Puddleduck Vineyard - Puddleduck Vineyard is a boutique, family-owned winery located in the heart of the Coal River Valley. This is also our lunch destination, where you can savor local produce and wine in a serene vineyard setting—ideal for relaxing and enjoying the region’s beauty. - Rosny Hill Lookout - On the return to Hobart, we’ll pause at Rosny Hill Lookout, offering a perfect chance to capture stunning photos of the cruise ship docked at the terminal. The lookout’s elevated position provides a unique view of the vessel against the city and river backdrop, making it an ideal spot for memorable photographs.
