Transfer to Kruger NP

Kruger National Park - Upon arrival at the airport, guests are transported through the picturesque province of Mpumalanga to the entrance of Kruger National Park. The journey is made in a luxurious, air-conditioned minibus.

As we approach Kruger National Park, we switch to an open safari vehicle to continue our adventure into the park. Our first game drive commences as we pass through the gates and head to the initial overnight camp.

We utilize some of the most renowned camps in Kruger Park, located in prime game viewing areas.

Dinner will be prepared by the guide and may feature a traditional South African braai (barbecue), weather permitting. Alternatively, the camp restaurant or catering services may be used.

Game drives at Phalaborwa Gate in Kruger National Park - Start the day with the sunrise to enjoy a full day of game viewing in Kruger National Park.

One morning, there will be an opportunity to join a guided bush walk, led by an armed ranger from the Parks Board. Participation is optional and subject to availability and weather conditions.

During a bush walk, guests can appreciate the smaller wonders of the wild: animal tracks, fascinating plants and their uses, and possibly spot some wildlife on foot.

Full Day Game Viewing

Kruger National Park - This day is dedicated to game viewing, and we will also pack up and move to another camp in a different area of Kruger Park (subject to accommodation availability).

This allows guests to experience a variety of habitats and vegetation types, offering diverse game viewing opportunities.

Sunset Game Drive

Similar to days 2 and 3, the focus is on game viewing. The optimal times for this are early morning and late afternoon, when the sun is less intense and animals are more active.

During the drive, we visit waterholes, viewpoints, and scenic picnic sites, where guests can stretch their legs (during game drives, disembarking from the vehicle is only allowed in designated areas).

One evening includes a sunset or night drive with spotlights. Conducted at sunset or late at night by a Kruger Park ranger in an open truck, powerful spotlights are used to locate elusive nocturnal animals.

Transfer and drop off

Johannesburg - The final day in the bush includes an early morning game drive to seek out any animals that have not yet been seen.

After brunch, we head towards the exit gate, where we switch back to a luxury air-conditioned vehicle for the transfer back to Johannesburg or Nelspruit, or to connect with onward travel plans.
