Glacier hike that is out of this world! - This is an amazing experience that we will remember for a lifetime. This company is very professional and willing to go above and beyond for their customers! The saddle trail enry is a steep ascent but offers breathtaking views and once you’ve reached the top you don’t have far to get to the glacier and it’s an easy hike from there. I can’t express enough how great this company is. We did the afternoon hike and if you’re wanting to do the entire loop you may want to consider doing the morning hike.

A fabulous hike to Grewingk glacier! - Fantastic trip to Grewingk glacier, courtesy of Coldwater Alaska. Our trip on the "North Cape" was both interesting and comfortable. The hike was easy to moderate and our packed lunch by Grewingk glacier was spectacular. I absolutely recommend this trip for outdoor enthusiasts of any hiking level.

Beautiful hike great... - Beautiful hike great boat ride out. The first 20 minutes of the hike is a bit steep, but after that it is much more moderate and the payoff is totally worth the effort. I’d totally recommend Coldwater Alaska to my friends!

Grewingk Glacier Hike in Kachemak Bay - After a 20 minute boat ride across the bay we were dropped off at the beach to begin our 2 mile hike to the lake and Grewingk Glacier. The first 1/4 mile of the hike was a little difficult and also the most beautiful until you got to the glacier. The boat was nice and clean and the crew was friendly and experts at landing us on the beach and picking us up from the rocks as the tide had come in. For me, as a person that likes to take photos and enjoy the beauty of nature, I would like to have a little more time to enjoy the lake and glacier area. Great trip from Coldwater Alaska.

Go! Unforgettable experience! - Kelsey and Alex were incredible. Although not part of the experience Kelsey learned there were Orcas nearby and took us to see them on our way to the drop off point. The trail to the glacier lake was well maintained and easily walkable. The lake was worth this trip! AMAZING! We also did the hand tram which is difficult but doable with beautiful views of the river. The hike back down to the pick up trailhead is much more difficult than the hike in. Give yourself extra time. It is steep and winding. A really great unforgettable experience!

Nice boat, nice hike,... - Nice boat, nice hike, beautiful scenery. Trail is well marked. Don't know what else to say. This 100 character minimum is ridiculous

Great day trip - Weather was rainy, but seas were calm for crossing from Homer. Path was slippery at the end, but well worth it to see the glacial lake!

Untrustworthy - I booked Grewingk glacier hike on line. Paid with credit card and got a confirmation on September 24th trip. Went to designated meeting point and local travel agent- Cold water Alaska never showed up. I called Cold water Alaska and was told the company already closed the business for this season and TripAdvisor/Viator was informed. Cold water Alaska went beyond their duty and helped me to ask for refund from TripAdvisor. I wasted whole day because of TripAdvisor’s mismanagement. This company doesn’t show any regret for the mistake . I travelled a lot and this is one of the very few companies I will never do business with again. Jennan
