Day 1: Hanoi – Ha Lang, 300km ~ 7 hours (L, D)

Cao Bang - Xin chào! The adventure kicks off bright and early at 7:30 AM. The guide will meet the group at the hotel or DCT Travel’s office. The journey to Ha Lang will be by private vehicle, taking approximately 7 hours. Despite the length, the ride will be comfortable due to smooth roads and short breaks to appreciate the stunning scenery along the way.

The first stop is Halong, a quaint town in Cao Bang province, bordered on three sides by China. This area boasts a diverse landscape with towering mountains, deep valleys, and numerous magnificent caves. It has long been home to many hill tribes, including the Tày and Nùng, who have a rich cultural heritage.

After enjoying lunch at a local restaurant, the group will arrive in Ha Lang in the afternoon and embark on a walk through this lush and tranquil area.

The first day concludes with a delightful dinner featuring Cao Bang specialties such as roasted duck or braised ribs, followed by an overnight stay in a guesthouse offering simple yet clean and welcoming accommodations.

Day 2: Ha Lang - Ban Viet Lake - Trung Khanh, 100km ~4 hours (B, L, D)

Trung Khanh - After breakfast, the vehicle will pick up the group and travel along the border belt to the remote areas of the province. Along the way, participants will explore the stunning landscapes of Cao Bang and visit many rustic traditional villages of the Tay and Nung ethnic groups.

Upon reaching Ban Viet Lake, there will be a short break for coffee by the lake, followed by a walk to enjoy the enchanting scenery of the lake, nestled among mountains with rich and diverse flora.

Thanks to its secluded location amidst majestic mountains, Ban Viet Lake exudes a peaceful and serene beauty. A picnic-style lunch will be arranged by the lake.

The day trip continues through picturesque sights leading to Trung Khanh district. A stop will be made at a local waterfall before arriving in Trung Khanh town. Dinner will be another delicious meal featuring local dishes at a restaurant near the guesthouse.

Day 3: Trung Khanh - Ngoc Con - Dam Thuy, 80km ~ 3 hours (B, L, D)

Day 4: Dam Thuy - Hanoi - 320 km, 8 hours (B, L)

Ban Gioc Waterfall - Detian Falls - The best is saved for last. An exciting day awaits with a visit to Ban Gioc Waterfalls, considered the most beautiful waterfall in Vietnam and the fourth largest in the world.

Located on the border between Vietnam and China, this waterfall features three tiers, standing 53 meters high and 300 meters wide, offering breathtaking views.

After lunch at a local restaurant, the group will head back to Hanoi, arriving around 7 PM, marking the end of the journey.
