Hanoi - Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi, a representative will warmly greet you and transfer you to your hotel in the city center to store your luggage. (Please note that early check-in and breakfast are not included.)
In the afternoon, at 13:30, embark on a city tour beginning with Ba Dinh Square and the Ho Chi Minh Complex, which includes the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (viewed from outside as it is closed in the afternoon and on Mondays and Fridays), Ho Chi Minh’s stilt house, his fishpond, and the One-Pillar Pagoda. Next, visit the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university established in 1070. Later, enjoy a one-hour cyclo ride through the bustling streets of the Old Quarter and around Hoan Kiem Lake, a must-see for any visitor to Hanoi!

Hanoi - Ninh Binh - Hoa Lu & Tam Coc - Hanoi (B)

Ninh Binh - At 08:00, you will be picked up from your hotel and taken to Hoa Lu. Upon arrival, your guide will lead you through this ancient complex, which served as the capital of Vietnam during the Dinh and Le Dynasties from 968 to 1009 AD. King Dinh Tien Hoang selected this mountainous location for its ideal water systems, perfect for agriculture and defense. Marvel at the palaces, pagodas, tombs, and pavilions built by various dynasties and visit the Dinh and Le Temples, the two remaining structures of Hoa Lu.
In the afternoon, enjoy a two-hour sampan ride along the waterways of Tam Coc, known as the ‘Halong Bay on land,’ featuring stunning limestone karsts and endless photo opportunities. You will also visit Bich Dong Pagoda, which consists of three pagodas at different levels on a lush mountain and was the setting for the French film ‘Indochine’. Return to Hanoi in the late afternoon.

Hanoi - Halong Bay – Overnight on Cruise (B, L, D) SIC Transfer & SIC Cruise

Halong Bay - At 08:00, you will be picked up from your hotel for a scenic 3.5-hour drive to Halong Bay, one of the most breathtaking UNESCO World Heritage Sites and the world’s largest marine limestone ‘karst’ landscape. Enjoy the views of the Red River Delta countryside and take a short break en route. Upon boarding a cruise boat, meet the crew, relax, and enjoy lunch as the boat sails towards secluded islands. Visit a fishing village by rustic rowing boat, meet the locals, and pass by the floating school and pearl farms. Return to the boat, unwind on the sundeck with a drink, and watch the sunset. Savor a freshly prepared seafood dinner under the stars.

Overnight on a cruise boat in Halong Bay

Halong Bay – Hanoi – Flight to Danang (B, BR) SIC Transfer, SIC Cruise

Hanoi - Start your day with an early morning swim or Tai Chi session (weather permitting), followed by breakfast. Visit a renowned ancient limestone cave in the bay, where you’ll discover magnificent stalagmites and stalactites on a guided tour along illuminated paths. Enjoy a delicious brunch while cruising back to the main harbor pier, where your private car will be waiting to transfer you back to Hanoi. Then, take a private transfer to Noi Bai Airport for your late afternoon flight to Ho Chi Minh City.

Ho Chi Minh City - Cu Chi Tunnels & City Tour (B)

Ho Chi Minh City - After breakfast, drive to the Cu Chi Tunnels to explore the incredible network of underground tunnels used by the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War. This extensive construction served as a refuge for villagers during wartime. With three levels of depth, it remained undiscovered by the US during the Vietnam War despite its proximity to Saigon. Explore the fighting tunnel system with your local guide.
Return to Ho Chi Minh City for a guided city tour, starting with the Reunification Palace, the former South Vietnam Presidential Palace, the Notre Dame Cathedral, and the Old Post Office, capturing the essence of Vietnam’s largest and most dynamically evolving city. You will also visit Ben Thanh Market with time for shopping. Return to your hotel around 18:00.

Explore the Mekong Delta (My Tho) (B)

Mekong Delta - At 08:00 AM, head south to My Tho pier to board a boat on the Mekong River for a tour of the four islands: Dragon, Unicorn, Turtle, Phoenix, and Rach Mieu Bridge. Proceed to Thoi Son (Unicorn Island, the largest island in this area, covering about 1,200 hectares and approximately 11 km long) to see bee hives and enjoy honey tea at a local house. Row a small boat (sampan) along a beautiful natural canal and enjoy the serene countryside atmosphere. Return to My Tho city and savor fresh coconut on the boat.
Return to My Tho Pier, where your private vehicle will take you back to Ho Chi Minh City, with a stop en route to visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, one of the oldest in Southern Vietnam. The pagoda is also known for its unique architecture, influenced by Vietnamese, Khmer, and European cultures. Return to your hotel around 17:00.
