Motorbike Adventure & Village Life - The optional motorbike spin to remote hamlets was unforgettable—dusty trails, cheerful locals, and stopping at roadside stalls for fresh fruit. Our guide handled everything professionally, ensuring comfort and safety. Nights at the homestay were cozy, with warm blankets and chats over hot tea. It felt like visiting new friends in the mountains."

Unforgettable memories - Young and energetic and kind! Every stop is fun and memorable, Mr. Quick's guide explained the life and also taught us how to take photos. The whole trip is full of laughter and harvest, it is very worth participating, and I want to apply again next time I come to Vietnam!

A Cultural Gem in the Highlands - From Hanoi’s bustle to Sapa’s serene landscapes, this tour transformed our weekend. The trekking routes were well-chosen—fairly easy yet scenic. Meeting Black Hmong and Red Dao artisans, watching their crafts, was eye-opening. Returning each evening to the homestay’s friendly family, savored fresh organic meals. Highly recommended for an authentic retreat."

Ban Gioc waterfall - We had a wonderful time - it was a small group of four of us so we got personalized attention. Justin was a very attentive tour guide and he was always making sure me and my elderly mother were okay. The waterfall was beautiful and Justin's priority is to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. The two day trip was well organized and the overnight room was big and very clean

Homestay warmth & Mountain views - This journey blends adventure and hospitality perfectly. Our guide patiently explained hill-tribe customs, and the motorbike ride through winding mountain roads was thrilling. The homestay was a highlight: homemade dinner, local music, and breathtaking views from the balcony. We learned so much about daily life in Sapa—truly enriching

Great sites but not worth the cost. - First I want to say that all the sites were amazing. Our guide (Quick) was also incredible. But there were some issues. They told us the ride would take 6 hours but it was 10 hours. While the driver was very safe and I felt comfortable, I am not sure he knew where he was going some of the time. There were multiple times where we turned around after going up a road for a long time. This added a lot of travel time and was not enjoyable. The hotel was also very old, run down, and dirty. I think it is a place worth visiting, but I would probably recommend people rent a car and drive themselves. You can also book your own hotel closer to the sites as ours was very far away. I loved it, but the cost was extreme, especially for a group trip in Vietnam. Can do it yourself for probably $25-40 USD easily.

If I could give it 0 stars I would - Im not even sure where to start with this. The tour was a disaster from start to finish. This was our 8th tour with viator this trip. Every other tour we received communication in advance confirming a time. Nothing for this. I messaged late at night but the chat was closed for the night. We got up at 5am and sat in reception at the tour start time of 6am for 1hr to see if anyone showed up. At 7.05 after various messages to viator, the tour operator. Someone turned up saying that the start time was as 6.45 and kept showing me that in his phone... the problem was this was not communicated... he then said that to apologise for the miscommunication they had upgraded us to a private tour. Clearly not the case at that notice! It was either no one else signed up or our booking had been forgotten about. It made for a really awkward 2 days when actually we had been really looking forward to the itinerary and the company of other travellers for a few days. We departed Hanoi, stopped once for coffee and once for lunch before arriving at the waterfalls. And then being taken to the caves. We returned to the lunch spot which was also the hotel. The rooms are very basic and the bed super hard and the first thing we found at the door of our room was a cockroach ... there were also ants running along the headboard... the only good thing i can say is that it has air conditioning. Next morning we started at 7am and this was where it appears the itinerary got thrown out. We were taken to a knife factory, something i have absolutely no interest in, next we went to Angel Eye mountain which was on the itinerary. We were then told we would be going for lunch and on to a temple before returning to Hanoi. At this point we disputed that this was not the itinerary we had paid for we were due to go back to the waterfalls pagoda. We were then left sat awkwardly for ages while they made various calls. They then said they would follow our itinerary and started out for the waterfall only for 10minutes later a call came through and they said this was not going to happen and returned to their itinerary but as a gesture could take us to “other relics”. By this point i was completely done and just wanted to return to Hanoi. The temple we were taken to took around 5 mins to look around. As the drive continued the guide changed tack and said this was a wet season tour as they only take you to the pagoda in dry season. Given wet season is May to September its already 2 months in so I don't understand why viator is still advertising these stops?? We returned to Hanoi around 5pm, an hour earlier than advertised. It felt very much like a rip off. Our guide told us if we wanted to stop over for pictures to let them know then proceeded to sleep for most of the journey so we ended up with lots of blurry pictures on the drive past of very beautiful countryside. Its really disappointing not to have had the tour we paid for, given the 6hour drive each way, it's unlikely to be something we will ever get to see again. It wasn't cheap at nearly £300 given the price of the hotel was less than £20 per night. I requested a partial refund as the tour was not as described. The response from viator was that they had submitted videos and photos of us that the guide had taken. I was not made aware that this was being done... this is a breach of my privacy!
