• Endangered Primate Rescue Centre - Our first stop is the Endangered Primate Rescue Centre, a non-profit organization focused on the rehabilitation, breeding, research, and conservation of endangered primates, as well as the protection of their habitats.
• Thousand Year Old Tree - Continue to the park’s center. Take a break and enjoy lunch at a house-on-stilts in the jungle (lunch is not included and costs around 9 USD per person). Embark on a short trek into the National Park to explore and learn about the fauna and flora in Vietnam’s oldest forest, leading to the magnificent 1,000-year-old tree in the heart of the jungle.
• Động Người Xưa - Return to the Park Centre to visit the “Cave of Pre-historic Man,” a limestone cave excavated in 1966. This site was among the earliest discoveries of human habitation in the country, featuring graves, stone axes, bone-made spears, and tools dating back approximately 7,500 years. During the excavation 44 years ago, archaeologists uncovered skeletons in three tombs, believed to be from prehistoric people who lived in the forest 7,500 years ago. In 2000, archaeologists discovered a fossilized sea reptile called placodontia, the first of its kind found in Southeast Asia, dating back 200-300 million years.
