The name Bach Ma translates to White Horse, which is linked to a legend about the temple’s construction. King Ly Thai To faced challenges in building the temple as its walls repeatedly collapsed. Legend has it that a white horse marked the ideal location for the temple with its hooves, aiding the king in its construction. Upon entering through the historic wooden doors, visitors can admire the beautifully adorned interior and a red-lacquered funeral palanquin. Inside, there is a statue of the white horse, a shrine dedicated to Confucius, and a Phoenix Altar for seasonal offerings.
