Hanoi – Mai Chau (L, D) 140km (Biking approximately 10km)

Old Quarter - 07:00 – 7:30: Guests will be picked up from their hotel in the Old Quarter Area or from the Hanoi Opera House if staying outside the area, by our comfortable van/bus. The journey takes about 4 hours, including a short break along the way.

Mai Chau - NOTE: Please be aware that MAI CHAU is a remote mountainous region, so amenities are simple, not luxurious or bustling like in Hanoi. However, it is perfect for relaxation and enjoying the natural beauty. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet local people and learn about their way of life.

11:30-12:30: Stop for scenic photos of Mai Chau valley/arrive in Mai Chau.
12:30: Enjoy a traditional lunch at our home (vegetarian options available). 14:30: Embark on a bicycle ride (approximately 10km) with your tour guide, observe farmers working in the fields, locals weaving scarves, and visit the surrounding peaceful villages.
17:00: Free time for cycling, walking, or shopping. 19:00: Delight in dinner, featuring traditional dishes prepared in the native Thai style, and enjoy a traditional Thai dance show while sipping traditional wine “ruou can” (applicable for groups of more than 5 people).

Mai Chau - Pu Luong Nature Reserve – Hanoi (B,L) (Trekking approximately 7km)

Mai Chau - 7:30-8:30: Breakfast time. 8:30-10:30: Drive 35km to Pu Luong Nature Reserve, with stops along the way to visit chopstick factories and take photos.

Pu Luong Nature Reserve - 10:30 – 12:30: Arrive at Pu Luong Nature Reserve, take a short 10-minute break before starting a trek to explore the beautiful mountain scenery and stunning rice terraces. 12:30 – 15:30: Enjoy lunch in the village and rest before resuming trekking, then drive back to Mai Chau.

Mai Chau - 15:30: Board the van/bus to return to Hanoi from MAI CHAU.

Old Quarter - After approximately 4 hours of driving, arrive back at Hanoi Old Quarter and be dropped off at your hotel between 19:00 PM and 19:30 PM. Tour concludes.

It borders the Mai Chau, Tan Lac, and Lac Son districts of Hoa Binh Province to the northeast. Pu Luong Nature Reserve is perfect for developing key tourism activities such as trekking and mountain biking.
