All thanks to Mr. Phil! - Mr. Phil was the best!!! We had an amazing time learning about the history and also flora/fauna of Ninh Binh/Vietnam! We didn’t feel like sheep, as we have felt like on other tours. This one was top quality! It was wonderful to meet Mr. Phil’s friend, Mrs. “Punch”: she was so sweet to invite us for tea and show us how her and her husband produce rice and rice wine. Don’t hesitate to book with these guys, and consider yourself lucky if you get a tour with Mr. Phil. Thanks for the great memories!

All Day Fun & Memories! - We had a great experience overall especially with our tour guide, Phong! Also, our driver, Jerry was a great driver. Be prepared for a full day of physical activities, which is accompanied by water, food, and naps to fuel the body. Would highly recommend it!

Pure Magic!! - What a fantastic experience! Son, my tour guide, was outstanding. He spoke excellent English, explained everything clearly, and balanced engagement with respecting my personal space, a perfect mix. The tour was pure magic. The climb up the 500 steps to the Mua Caves viewpoint isn’t for the faint-hearted; it demands stamina (about 20 minutes up and 20 down, with the record at 7 minutes up). The highlight was visiting the heritage house and relaxing with the local owner, authentic, genuine vibes that are rare to find. Overall, I highly recommend this tour. I’d even suggest it to my mum!

Ninh Binh Tour!!! - Phil was absolutely amazing!! He was super knowledgeable about everything we saw and experienced. I particularly appreciated the family home he took us to in Ninh Binh on bikes, the family was so welcoming and nice, we learned a lot about how to make rice and rice wine/liquor. The tour included going up 500 steps to see an incredible view and some pagodas, the steps were a challenge but we were able to go at our own pace and Phil made sure everyone was safe and accounted for. The bikes were my favorite part, he took us around some rice paddy’s and let us take as many pictures as we wanted. He also took some pictures for us that came out great! Going on the boat was amazing, and even though it rained super heavily while we were on the water, it was still one of the most beautiful experiences of my life! Phil you are awesome!!!

Hanoi Countryside Day Trip - Hot, Challenging, Worth It! - If you're taking this tour, plan to sweat - plenty of water will be provided, but consider workout clothes as your uniform of the day. You should also consider bringing a change of clothes for the ride back to your hotel/lodging. The climb to the shrine is not a walk in the park. Forewarned is forearmed. This is a fantastic tour! One of the best features of this tour is that it's PRIVATE. You can mix, match and/or delete aspects of the tour you are not interested in. You pay for the privilege, but it is worth it!

The perfect day tour of Ninh Binh and Tam Coc! - Duc and Dii were amazing tour guides. Friendly, accommodating and shared a lot about the region throughout the day. We hiked, we biked, we boated and each was planned perfectly. The drinking water bottles throughout the day and lunch were perfection! Highly recommend this full day tour!
