Ha Noi to Mai Chau Valley– Pu Luong Nature Reserve

Mai Chau District - • 6:45-7:00 – Guests will be picked up from their hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter or in Ninh Binh (08:00 – 08:30). The journey to Mai Chau takes approximately 3.5 hours.
• Upon arrival in Mai Chau, known as the capital of the Thai people, enjoy lunch in a traditional house featuring specialties from the Northwest mountains.
• Take a brief rest or a leisurely walk through the narrow alleys to appreciate the local lifestyle. Embark on a cycling tour to explore the picturesque Mai Chau valley. Ride through fields and villages, gaining insight into the unique cultural activities of the White Thai ethnic group. Pause to visit local brocade production facilities. Guests are welcome to explore the shops and purchase souvenirs from this distinctive location.

Chieu Cave - • The next stop is Chieu Cave, also referred to as the Thousand Steps Cave. Climb from the mountain’s base to its peak to enjoy a breathtaking view of Mai Chau valley.
• Return to the homestay for a tea break.

Pu Luong Nature Reserve - • 17:00 – Board the bus to Pu Luong.
• 18:30 Arrive at Pu Luong Nature Reserve. Check into the hotel, enjoy dinner, and relax.

Pu Luong -Lan Village-Silk-Weaving- Rafting – Ninh Binh

Pu Luong Nature Reserve - • 08:00 -08:30: Check out of the Lodge. The guide will escort guests to Lan Village through rice fields and mountains. Visit a Thai household to observe silk weaving from cocoon to textile, and try weaving silk.
• Next, visit Chieng Lau Village to witness traditional farming practices and see the ancient waterwheels in operation.
• 10:00: Embark on a scenic 4km trek from Chieng Lau to Cham Stream. Along the way, stop at a traditional local house to experience warm hospitality and immerse in the region’s culture.

Pu Luong Nature Reserve - • 10:45: Arrive at Cham Stream for a bamboo rafting adventure and enjoy a delightful lunch on the boat. Relax while floating through lush forests, rice fields, and charming villages. (Bring a swimsuit and towel if the weather is warm).

Ninh Binh - • 13:00 – 13:30: Bid farewell to the stunning Pu Luong Nature Reserve and begin the journey to reach Halong Bay on land in Ninh Binh.
• 17:00: Arrive at the lodge and enjoy free time to relax by the pool or on the terrace, soaking in the peaceful atmosphere before dinner.

Ninh Binh - Hoa Lu - Mua Cave - Trang An – Ha Noi

Hoa Lu Ancient Capital - 08:00-08:30: Guests will be picked up by a friendly guide to visit Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam from 968 to 1010. This is an opportunity to learn about Vietnamese history during the feudal system under the Dinh, Le, and Ly Dynasties.

Mua Caves - • 09:30: Return to the car and head to Mua Cave (Dancing Cave). Climb nearly 500 steps to reach the top of Lying Dragon Mountain for a stunning panoramic view of Tam Coc.

Ninh Binh - • 12:00: Enjoy a buffet lunch at the restaurant featuring a variety of local dishes such as goat meat, fish, chicken, and fried rice. Vegetarian options are always available.

Trang An Landscape Complex - • 13:30: Visit Trang An, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 2014. Trang An boasts a magnificent tunnel cave system, which was chosen by Kong’s Movie Group for the 2016 film “Skull Island.” Spend 2 hours on a boat trip, captivated by the beauty of the area.
• 17:00: Conclude the tour and board the bus back to Ha Noi (19:00 – 19:30).
