Perfume Pagoda - 8:00 AM: Begin your journey from your hotel in Hanoi, where you will be picked up for the trip. The Perfume Pagoda is located approximately 60 km southwest of Hanoi. Enjoy a scenic drive through the countryside on your way to the pagoda.
10:00 AM: Embark on a sampan ride to the main pagoda. As a significant religious site, it is surrounded by 18 pagodas. Today, the sampan will take you to the Registration Hall – Den Trinh, and the Heavenly Kitchen – Thien Tru. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Afterward, take a round-trip cable car to Vietnam’s most beautiful cave, Huong Tich, which houses a pagoda. Here, visitors often pray at uniquely shaped rocks, such as Silver, Gold, Boys, or Girls, or at a rock formation resembling a rice pile.
3:00 PM: Row back to the mainland and return to your hotel in Hanoi.
6:00-6:30 PM: Conclude your journey at your hotel in Hanoi.

Good experience - Experience that was worth it, the Long guide made the excursion more interesting, always very attentive, accompanied us all the way and explained everything that was done.

Dont go yourself, book the tour, you will not regret it. Amazing experience. - The Parfume Pagoda your was amazing. Minh, the guide born in the local vilage, was very helpfull and informative. Before we booked we were not sure if we should do the full day tour or go there by ourselfs, but the service and information the tour and guide provides made it so much worth it. We even had some karaoke on our little boat. Thanks again Minh for the wonderfull experience.

Beautiful & learned so much - Really happy we booked this experience for several reasons: our guide Minh is from the village and was so knowledgeable. He’s a great storyteller and we loved learning about the culture. There were practically no tourists and only locals. The views were amazing. Everything was perfectly organized and scheduled well, with the perfect amount of time for travel, for learning and for exploring. There’s also a lot of bathroom breaks, which reassures me when on these types of outings. The different combination of smells also make for a unique experience. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Hanoi!

Excellent tour, must do it! - Loved the tour! Mr Minh was our guide and he gave an excellent tour. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the place and the local customs. The 1-hr boat ride was awesome and so was the cable car ride. Above all, the Perfume Pagoda in the caves is a sight to behold. Highly recommend on your Hanoi itinerary. And do it with Mr Minh. :)

Beautiful experience - Wonderful day. Sublime place imbued with a Buddhist fervor that put me out of time for 5 hours:)
The round trip boat ride is so peaceful. Real happiness! Don't forget to tip the ladies who row:)
A huge thank you to Minh, our village child guide who accompanied us, smiling, passionate, he made us discover the legend of the place. Thousand thanks Minh!!
The festival lasts 3 months from January to March. So for more tranquility, go there weekdays from the end of March and for a magnificent view take the cable car:) otherwise it is about 45 minutes walk to reach the pagoda with quite high steps. Few tourists because it is a place of pilgrimage for Vietnamese.
The site includes 15 temples. On one day, we visited three.
Lots of shops, places to see food and drink.
100% recommend visiting this place with Minh as your guide.

Wonderful trip with an A+ Guide - This was a great day trip it if Hanoi. Minh is the best your guide you can have. He is super knowledgeable, personable and truly shows a passion for what he is showing.
We learned so much in this tour, wish every guide was as comprehensive and considerate as Minh.

Perfect - Minh was great we went on the perfume trail with him explained everything very well in English and other languages . He was very patient for those who had walking difficulties as believe me if you're not fit there is a lot of walking on this one once again thanks Minh for a great day 👍

Amazing day trip from Hanoï - I had the best time on this day trip to Perfume Pagoda. Our guide Huu Minh was great ! He was very mindful of the whole group and of everyone’s pace. Very hardworking and kind man ! There was a good energy all day long.
The places were beautiful, and the locals are so nice too. It was a great experience as a whole. Would 100% recommend.
