Hanoi - Mai Chau

Old Quarter - 7:00 - 7:30. Depart from the DCT Responsible Travel office (17 Cau Go) and leave the city behind, traveling through a rugged, mountainous landscape to reach Mai Chau Valley.
10:30 am: Upon arrival in Mai Chau, guests will be warmly welcomed by the hosts and introduced to a world of unique customs and traditions.

Mai Chau - 11:00. After a tour briefing, participants will cycle to Na Phon village through rice fields and narrow lanes until reaching a weaving workshop. Here, they will learn the White Thai traditional weaving, dyeing, and embroidery techniques and participate in a hands-on natural dyeing workshop led by a Thai artisan. The crafted items can be taken home, along with cherished memories of time spent with wonderful people.

Mai Chau - 1:30. Returning to the homestay, guests will enjoy a lunch featuring Mai Chau specialties, carefully prepared by the host family.

In the afternoon, participants will embark on a bicycle ride. Mai Chau Valley offers numerous scenic cycling trails that pass through charming villages and fields. Along the way, there are opportunities to pause and capture beautiful moments of nature or engage with friendly locals.

4:00. Back at the homestay, there is time to relax in the reading corner or explore Na Phon village.

In the evening, enjoy a BBQ dinner prepared by the hosts, showcasing their exceptional culinary skills, before retiring for the night in the tranquil village atmosphere.

Mai Chau - Pu Luong National Reserve

Pu Luong Nature Reserve - 8:00. After breakfast, guests bid farewell to their hosts and drive east for approximately 50 km to enter the Pu Luong nature reserve.
Along the route to Pu Luong Nature Reserve, there will be a stop at a chopstick workshop to observe the transformation of bamboo into these essential dining tools.
10:30. Arrive at Kho Muong village. Explore the intriguing Kho Muong cave before returning to the village for a delightful home-cooked lunch with a local family.
2:00. Proceed to Bang village for a 1.5-hour trek along a single trail through Thai villages and rice terraces.
3:30. Prepare to visit Cham Stream, where guests can enjoy a refreshing swim in the freshwater.
Continue the journey with a stop at the waterwheel to witness the Thai people’s skillful use of water power for field irrigation.
5-5:30. Conclude the trip in Pu Luong and return to Mai Chau.
6:30. Arrive in Mai Chau and unwind after an active day before dinner. Dinner and overnight stay at the homestay.

Mai Chau - 4:00. Arrive in Mai Chau and enjoy tea before bidding farewell to the host, then head back to Hanoi, arriving around

Hanoi - 7:30. End of the trip. The driver will drop guests off at the meeting point (either at the office at 17 Cau Go or their hotel).
