Old Quarter - 07:00 AM: Guests will be picked up from their hotel in the Old Quarter area. Anticipate a 4-hour drive, assuming light traffic.
10:00 AM: Take a 15-minute rest stop midway through the journey. Enjoy the charming village scenery along the route.
Pu Luong Nature Reserve - 12:00 PM: Arrive at Pu Luong Nature Reserve. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Check into your reserved room (standard check-in time is 14:00) and unwind at your leisure.
01:30 PM: Begin an afternoon trek, with a difficulty level of 4/5.
Transfer to the Meeting Point to start a 10km trek. Discover Kho Muong, a secluded village nestled in a valley, and explore the largest cave in Pu Luong, using off-road trails through streams and mountains.
Leave the village and proceed to the picturesque Bang village to explore remote homes with stunning terrace fields. Return to the hotel and relax by 05:00 PM.
Evening: Culinary exploration and leisure
Savor a delightful dinner at 7:00 PM, followed by free time to unwind. This marks the end of your first day in Pu Luong.
PU LUONG - HANOI (B - L) Village Life | Water Wheels | Rafting
Pu Luong Nature Reserve - 07:00 AM: Enjoy breakfast and get ready for the day’s adventures. Be prepared by 8:30 AM.
08:45 AM: Transfer to Ban Cong and embark on a 2.5km walk. Cross a suspension bridge to reach one of Pu Luong’s most picturesque villages, where the largest stream flows. Along the river, admire breathtaking landscapes, rice fields, and village life. Look for the giant water wheels, an impressive creation of Vietnam’s mountainous ethnic minorities. Difficulty level 2/5.
Arrive at Chieu Lau dam and enjoy a bamboo rafting experience. Paddle the raft upstream with locals and have a great time.
10:00 AM: The raft lands on the opposite side of the river. Embark on another 2km trek through rice fields and villages, completing a loop trail. Meet the transfer at the main road and return to your hotel for check-out by 11:30 AM. Enjoy lunch.
01:00 PM: Get ready for the bus journey back to Hanoi.
