So beautiful! - Our tour guide was Huan and the driver was Ha.
We had a beautiful day on the water. The weather wasn’t too hot and it was slightly overcast, but the perfect temperature for all the walking within the tour. We were picked up from our hotel and later dropped off, and there was a full 12 hours of exploring. We had a 3 hour drive to get to Ha Long Bay with a stop part way at a Pearl Museum. We then took a one hour boat cruise on a very comfortable boat to the “Amazing Caves” Huan kept everyone on track for timing and did a great job at giving us some history on the caves. After that it was Titov Mountain where we walked up 420 steps for the beautiful views of Ha Long Bay! (Best part!) our final stop was a bamboo boat ride around the caves where we saw some monkeys! It was really jam packed, but felt relaxing. I would highly recommend Huan and the tour company. If you have more time, take a longer cruise, but we only had one day so this was perfect. The food was also amazing on the boat!

A great day out! - We organised a day trip to Halong Bay with our Hotel in Hanoi. Huy picked us up from the hotel promptly. He asked us for some information and we set off to pick up other tour group members from their hotel. The 'Limousine' transfer specified on the information was a spacious bus, which was much more luxurious than some of the vehicles we saw along the road! Huy's English was amazing. He had a great sense of humour and ensured any questions were answered about the tour. Huy also had clear safety protocols and time management to ensure everyone was safe and we knew where to meet. Unfortunately, we went over the New Year period and were met with thousands of tourists coming from China. The sights were extremely busy. We arrived back to Hanoi safely and at the expected time. Huy was a fantastic guide!

Not luxury tour - This tour was advertised as a small group luxury tour. It was not. It was a huge tour bus of tourists. Also, the tour was supposed to pick me up from my hotel. The bus never came and, instead, the guide showed up 15 minutes late and told me to ride on a scooter with him to the bus.
I should have paid more for a better tour. There was nothing luxurious about this, stressful and unpleasant.
