Wonderful days, great organisation - Wonderful days, great organisation From the pick-up in Hanoi to the return, it was a wonderful experience. The organisation was great, and everyone went out of their way to ensure that the travellers had a wonderful time. There was a great deal of flexibility in the activities, even when the weather conditions varied. The trekking tour I went on was very interesting and provided fascinating insights into the local culture and great views of the magnificent landscape. The hotel I stayed in and the food left nothing to be desired; I felt completely at home in Sa Pa.

Nice, comfortable experience to Sapa - Sapa tour with Fansipan was very nice. They do a great job organizing the tour, the food at the hotel is very good and the limousine from Hanoi to Sapa is very comfortable, it didn’t even feel like a 6 hour journey.

Very nice trekking! - Very nice trekking. The guides were very enthusiastic local people and explained a lot about he local life. Very interesting. The group was nice and not too big, which makes it a nice experience. In two days I have a very good impression of Sapa and the local life here, unless the wheather was not always very good. Recommend!

Sapa experience - From the moment I booked this tour in Australia through Get Your Guide, Alice from the tour company was in touch with me on WhatsApp. How fabulous! Alice was in touch every step of the way, explaining our trip, our options etc. we had an amazing local guide Mamaya in Sapa when we walked to the village. She is an Incredible woman. On our 2nd day, the rain came and the cloud was low so we asked to not do Fansipan. It was not a problem and we were offered to walk with the group guided by Mamaya up Ham Rong instead. Stunning views over Sapa, we got to make a til tok with Mamaya (our first not hers) 😂 Great time had - I would recommend staying 3 days / 2 nights. It was a long way to go for 2 days / 1 nights but that wa our choice nothing to do wirh the company.

A Senior’s First Solo Trip Abroad - Taking my first solo trip and in my golden years at that, I must admit I was apprehensive at first. My fears were allayed because I would get prompt responses from my tour operator whenever I communicated with them. It was an unforgettable trip and I plan to go back next year, no longer a solo traveller as I intend to have my family also experience amazing Sapa.

SAPA cool place to visit - Pricing are reasonable. It's really ezy to purchase. Purchase Fanispan ticket from the hotel which save my time as pricing are almost the same. Plan at least 3 days in SAPA.

Moments to enjoy, but probably not worth it - Sapa is pretty, and the area is probably beautiful in summer, but I would not advise this trip is worth it any time outside of peak summer. Even then, think hard if the travel is worth while for the activity, and don’t expect a real trek. Pros - limosine was nice and the trip was broken up with rest stops. Staff were lovely. Food was tasty and room was large. The dragons jaw trip on day 2 was fun. Cons - we travelled a total of 14 hours (delayed by landslide!) for 3 hours of activity - this is not a trek and not worth it. Hotel was cold and noisy at night. Nothing is growing or in bloom in winter, and with heavy fog, winter trips are underwhelming. We were implicitly advised by locals not to bother with fansipan due to the heavy fog at the time, only to then later be disappointed we didn’t visit after hearing it was clear. We never had an option to visit the village waterfall, despite it being advertised.

Lost A Star Before The Tour Ever Started, Then Recovered Well - For me, this was two long van rides with a little trekking on the first day and the trip to the top of Fansipan on the second morning. The pickup process was one of the worst I've ever seen, with the driver refusing to pick me up in the obviously best spot both out of traffic and next to my hotel door and instead wanting to drag my suitcase over five lanes of uneven pavement to a "parking spot" where a local cabbie was incredibly irate because my driver had blocked the exit from the train station! The return home began just as badly with a walk uphill from the hotel because they had apparently waited until after the stated pickup time and the street in front of the hotel turns to a one-way after a certain hour. The trek on day one was wonderful as was the trip to Fansipan. Despite the hotel not appearing to be special, the food was good and the bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. I'm very grateful that I was able to book this on such short notice after having to cancel another tour (which should have begun the night before) when no one showed up. However, they have a little work to do, especially on the transportation side.
