The best photo walk in Hanoi - We started with some hot local Tea, discussing the expectations for the day, where we planned to go and what I’d like to see. We also went through experience levels, it was great to swap and discuss ideas, techniques and other artists who inspire us. After that, we set off in search of some images. Making the best of the difficult lighting conditions that day. After our time in the Old Quarter, we had another break for Tea, then went deeper into the backstreet markets, well away from the tourists. It was great to see local life unfolding and capturing those genuine moments in time. Nguyen, was very attentive, and after confirming that I still had the energy, we continued long after the official tour was over (he had some free time that day) After a great morning, we stopped for coffee and to discuss what we had seen and taken, we both had mutual respect for each others work and techniques. Regardless of your skill level, I really recommend getting out and about with Nguyen whilst you’re in Hanoi, it’s a fantastic experience at a very reasonable price. You will not be disappointed!!!

It's a MUST if you visit Hanoi! - One of the highlights of my vacation and a must do for everyone visiting Hanoi. It was a real joy! Nguyen answered all my photography questions concerning (street) photography. This combined with the best possible locations and (if needed) help with composition. Tour was booked October 31st 2024

Amazing experience - Old quarters is vibrant and beautiful. Walking the narrow alleys and bylanes with Nguyen was just amazing. He showed me the best places to take photographs. At my request we spent an hour at Hanoi train street which was the best part of the photo tour. Would highly recommend this tour to all photo enthusiasts.

Great company to explore Hanoi and take photos! - Top signature experience! Definitely one of my favorite things I've done in Vietnam. I love taking street photos/videos but felt a bit overwhelmed to explore on my own. So booking with Nguyen was the best idea! He asked about my background and what do I usually film (which is videos, not photos haha) and we went on exploring! Had a great time and learned a lot interesting stuff about culture and ways of living from a local person. If you're in doubt of activities in Hanoi -choose this one (even if you're not a pro photographer), it's 100% worth it!

Definitely recommend! - This was the best thing I did in Hanoi. Mai was a fantastic guide and teacher. He took me through different markets and interesting spots around the city.

Insightful with the Lens - I originally had my tour from 8am - 10:30am and told Nguyen that I'd have to cut it 30 minutes short because I had a flight to HCM at 12. He gracefully accommodated me and asked if we could meet up at 7:30am instead so I could get the full tour. It was a really insightful and beautiful tour/ experience with Nguyen. He's very easy to talk to and is exceptional behind the camera. Whether you're new to photography or have been shooting for years, it's worth checking this tour out.

A wonderful way to see Hanoi - My guide Lily, had a wonderfully relaxed way about her. We shared our different photography experiences and techniques with each other an in doing so was able to take on some of her knowledge when it came to looking for scenes or compositions that tell a story. I was taken through the local streets of the Old Quarter and the local markets which, some of which I know I wouldn't have ventured into without having been shown. It was a worthwhile experience and one I would recommend anyone do.
