Hanoi – Hoa Lu – Tam Coc – Mua Cave – Bungalow/Homestay (L/D)
Old Quarter - Guests will be picked up from hotels in the Hanoi Old Quarter Area. The guide will arrive at your hotel, confirm your name with the receptionist for the tour, and then transfer you to Ninh Binh Province, located 100 km from Hanoi Old Quarter. The drive takes approximately 2 hours, including a short break along the way.
Hoa Lu Ancient Capital - Upon arrival at Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam, you will visit the Dinh King temple and Le King temple from the 10th century, learning about the heroic histories of these two kings during the Chinese Wars. Hoa Lu is recognized as Vietnam’s first capital, featuring numerous historical landmarks. In 968, King Dinh Bo Linh of Dai Co Viet (an old name for Vietnam) established his capital in Hoa Lu and ruled until 980.
Tam Coc - Enjoy a buffet lunch at a restaurant offering a variety of local dishes such as goat meat, fish, chicken, and fried rice. Vegetarian options are also available. After lunch, visit Tam Coc by bamboo boat and be captivated by the enchanting beauty of the paddy fields, river, water, clouds, sky, and a stunning cave system during the boat trip. This area is often referred to as “Ha Long Bay on land” by the Vietnamese. Continue the tour with a cycling trip around the village to explore the local lifestyle.
Mua Caves - Proceed to Mua Cave, where you will climb 500 stone steps to the mountain’s summit to view Tam Coc and enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the countryside and Ngo Dong river. Mua Caves (Hang Múa in Vietnamese) or Dancing Cave is renowned for its exquisite natural beauty, earning it the titles “The Great Wall of Vietnam” or “Tam Coc’s Muse.” It is considered the most beautiful viewpoint in Ninh Binh, Vietnam. At the end of the day, guests will be transferred to a Bungalow for check-in. Relax and have dinner at the Bungalow/Homestay. Enjoy your free time exploring the local area and spend the night at the bungalow/homestay in Ninh Binh.
Ninh Binh - Bai Tu Long Bay Day Cruise – Hanoi (B/L)
Ninh Binh - After breakfast, check out of your bungalow. Between 07:00 AM and 7:15 AM, board the group limousine heading to Halong Bay, a 4.5-hour drive.
Bai Tu Long Bay - Arrive at Halong harbor just before noon, where you will be welcomed on board and enjoy a Vietnamese set menu lunch while cruising from Halong Bay to Bai Tu Long Bay. Participate in optional kayaking or relax on the boat if you prefer more leisure time. Finally, cruise back to the harbor for the transfer back to Hanoi Old Quarter Area in the late evening, between 8:30 PM and 9:00 PM. This concludes the 2-day, 1-night tour package.
