This was a very fun... - This was a very fun excursion. Our driver was so sweet and was great to talk to and learn more about the island. The monkey and sloth was such a fun experience and the snorkeling was great!!

Great!!! - Awesome trip. Well taken care off. AJ’s was awesome for the monkey sloth. The snorkeling was excellent, great location. Picked up right near terminal and dropped off inside. Had a great driver, Tommy, who had a couple extra suggestions for us catering to our wants. The best shore day of the 20 I’ve had on my five cruises.

Great time. Great value. Fun for the family. - Great time and great value with a private car. Went on Norwegian cruise but decided to book excursion outside their system as they were so expensive. Went on trip advisor last minute and booked. Super friendly driver was waiting just outside the cruise port. Got in a SUV and visited the sloth conversation. it was fun to walk through although not a lot to see, but still worth a visit. Next we went drift snorkeling. Water was nice and we drifted for about about an hour. Saw lots of smaller fish and lobster. No complaints. The family had a great time and saw new things. It was a fun day.

Visit animal park and snorkeling - Very professional. We were picked up in a car with AA, at the port on the way out. All very relaxed, the experience with guinea pigs, monkeys and sloths and macaws is very good. The animals are very well treated. The snorkeling experience was divine. Everyone has been very friendly, unhurried, explaining everything very well and a quiet but very interesting diving area, on the same coral barrier. He's been very professional. Juan Carlos did not provide exquisite care. Thank you very much.

The BEST time!! - Ronaldo went above and beyond to ensure the entire family had the best day in Roatan. This excursion gives you the best of both worlds: nature and sea. Getting to see the animals up close and have monkeys climb all over you is something you will never forget once you experience it. In the moment, you can’t help but think to yourself how lucky you are. Next, Ronaldo took us snorkeling where we got to see coral and fish of all varieties. Ronaldo truly made the day with his calm nature, no rush mentality, answered all of our questions about the culture of Honduras, and was so friendly. I couldn’t recommend this excursion more. Thank you for the best day!

Great tour!! - Every part of the tour was amazing. Phillip was our tour guide and was so nice and told us a lot about the island. The sloths and monkeys were awesome. The snorkel tour was great. There was a lot of wind but we were able to go to crystal clear water around the reef and saw plenty of fish and sea life. Ronald was awesome with showing us things we would have never seen. I definitely recommend this tour to anyone.

Amazing and FUN!! - This excursion was over my expectations. It was not only affordable, but outstanding. Our tour guide, Katie, was very kind. We have a family of six, and she took great care of us. It was well organized, great service, and an amazing experience overall. My family and I traveled through Carnival Jubilee (cruise) and booking through this organization has saved us money. Looking and holding animals, to swimming in the ocean water overlooking the ocean life, it’s a must do experience.

Monkey and sloths sanctuary snorkel adventure - Excursion exceeded expectations. Excellent communication with Viator and local tour organizer. Our guide and driver, Katie, was superb. We had Katie to ourselves (party of 6) which was great as she drove us around in a nice, personal SUV and told us a lot about Roatan. Didn’t have to drive too far from ship (-20 min ?) and snorkel trip only a couple of minutes further. Kids (9 and 12) loved the sanctuary and chance to interact with guinea pigs, sloths, parrots, macaws and capuchin monkeys. Guides at sanctuary were great - encouraging everyone to interact with all the animals. For the snorkeling we chose the shallow drift which turned out to be really good. We’re not experienced at snorkeling but it was really benign over the coral. Saw plenty of beautiful fish including a barracuda. Could have chosen to go much deeper and there was even an old shipwreck to potentially explore. Snorkel lasted -1hr as did the sanctuary. Guides on the boat were very patient and snorkeled with us showing and explaining interesting sea life on the way. Got back to our ship in plenty of time to enjoy more relaxation onboard. I much preferred this excursion to one organized by the cruise company - more personal and perhaps cheaper(?). Thoroughly recommend Viator and Roatan Getaway Tours

Amazing tour and our guide JJ was the BEST! - Favorite tour from our cruise by far and one of the best ever! We ended up with a private driver JJ who went above and beyond to educate us on Roatan and have a great time! The monkeys, sloths, guinea pigs and parrots were so fun to see and interact with. The water is crystal clear in Roatan and we saw a lot of fish. Would definitely recommend and would return to vacation just in Roatan. JJ was one of the nicest people we have met while on vacation.

Sep 2025 - Our guide Carlos is really knowledgeable. First stop was the monkey and sloths, although you cannot hug the sloths anymore, you are still able to interact with them. Second stop was the snorkeling and we saw a lot of fishes. Last stop was the beach, it was ok.
