Big guys can zip line! - What a fantastic experience! There is nothing like walking off the ship and meeting up with your guide and treated like royalty. We had the best time and will do it again when we come back. Side note big guys can zip line!

Best tour choice! - Once out of the pier gate, a group of tour company guides helped us find our tour guide, Phill. We had to do a bit of walking to get to his car before starting our tour. Our first stop was the Jungle Top Adventures Zipline and Animal Sanctuary. We went to see the monkeys and sloth first. The guides in the sancturay took pictures of us with the animals with our phones, eventhough they had their own photographer. Then, we went to the zipline circuit, which was very busy that day. We had to wait for the guides to get finished with the previous group to get our harnesses on, and for them to get in their respective platforms. The circuit would have lasted about 15 minutes overall, but since we had to do a lot of waiting, it felt like it took us at least 1 hour of the fun and excitment, so we really didn’t mind. Once we were done with the zipline, Phill took us to the Rum cake factory, where we tasted some of the cakes. Then, we went to the Chocolate factory, where Willy Wonka told us about the amazing properties of cacao and the different products that can be obtained from 1 cacao seed. We were able to taste three different chocolates. Then, our last stop was on the Roatan sign, where Phill took several pictures of us. It was a good tour and we were back at the pier in time to enjoy the afternoon in the pool.

Perfect Day - What an absolutely amazing day. Our tour guide La Shawn was amazing! She was so sweet and knowledgeable. She got us everywhere on time and knew all the local great spots! I would highly recommend this tour with La Shawn as your guide.

This was an amazing... - This was an amazing experience. The tour guide that we had was personable and not only answered our questions, but also shared some of his personal experiences growing up in Roatan. The zip line guides that we had were very friendly, and extremely patient with the kids in our group, along with the adults. This was a wonderful experience, and we definitely feel like we got more than our money's worth!

Great adventure and wonderful tour guide (J.J.) - Pretty easy to find the tour provider, Roatan Breakaway Tours, once we located the exit in the middle of the port area. Our tour guide, J.J., was wonderful and very helpful and polite. He was very informative about the island and made us feel very welcomed during the whole day. We started off with the zipline which was super fun and exciting. All of the zipline staff were very knowledgeable, fun and very professional. We always felt like we were in good hands during every zipline section and there were a bunch (16 total). After the zipline we walked through the animal area which was a little slow paced but still nice. We weren't able to hold the sloths but we got to pet them so that was a new experience. We did get to hang out with the monkeys though and that was fun even though there was a bit of a wait to get into the enclosure. After the zipline and animal experience we went to the chocolate factory and the rum factory. Both of them are basically little shops that sell products so we picked up a couple of items at each place. A nice addition to the tour to add a little bit of variety. After the factory tours, J.J. took us for a little tour of the island and explained a lot about Roatan which was nice. He also made sure we were able to get pictures at the big colorful Roatan sign. He was a great tour guide and we really enjoyed his company and the experience. We would definitely recommend this tour and this tour provider.

What a blast! After... - What a blast! After disembarking from the cruise, our guide Alfred was immediately there to meet us. We went to the zipline (which was so much fun! 17 zip lines down the mountain), then the chocolate factory, the rum tour which was so good-we bought 3 bottles, and ended with a beautiful view of the island. If you are looking for a family friendly and exciting adventure, do this tour! Alfred was so insightful and gave information about the island, culture, food, and was such a sweet soul. At the end, we were dropped off right in front of the gate to get back on the boat. We all want to come back and spend some more time in Roatan soon.

Roatan zip line and animal sanctuary - All the guides we had on our excursion were amazing. They were fun, friendly and knowledgeable. Our main guide stayed with us the entire time and even stopped at a local shop to allow us to pickup something for our kids. Great time! Recommend!
