Visitors can choose to wander through the quaint fishing port of Honfleur, a place that has captivated many renowned painters like Turner, Boudin, and Monet. Alternatively, they can explore charming villages such as Beuvron-en-Auge and Cambremer, featuring half-timbered houses and thatched roofs nestled in picturesque valleys. These areas are rich with churches, cemeteries, manors, stud-farms, wash-houses, and natural and medicinal springs, making hiking a delightful experience.
Additionally, guests can enjoy a traditional market experience by grabbing a basket early in the morning to discover genuine Norman products and recipes, including homemade caramel cream, savory or sweet pancakes “crepes,” and artisanal sausages.
The tour can be enhanced with a visit to a cheese factory, a “Calvados” brandy distillery, or a cider farm.

Discover the enchanting landscapes of Normandy, rich in historical and culinary treasures, in the region known as Pays d’Auge. Delight in the vibrant scenery of lush, moist meadows where cows graze, producing the finest Norman cream, butter, and cheeses.
In springtime, the expansive apple orchards are a must-see as their blossoms flourish, and the countryside is adorned with charming half-timbered and thatched-roof houses and farms. Hidden stud farms, often concealed by a veil of trees, nurture their young horses for racing.
Pays d’Auge also boasts long sandy beaches and coastal resorts like Deauville and Trouville, both established in the 19th century, which flourished due to the sea bathing trend during Napoleon III’s era. Additionally, it is home to the revered site dedicated to Saint Theresa of Lisieux, drawing thousands of pilgrims annually.
