Unforgettable tour in Hong Kong - Wonderful experience with Stephanie, who guided us through an unforgettable tour in Hong Kong. Stephanie's extensive knowledge of the city's history, coupled with her engaging storytelling, made the journey incredibly informative and enjoyable. During our three-hour tour, Stephanie led us to some stunning spots that beautifully combined shopping areas, historic monuments, and breathtaking overviews. The time flew by, and we were so immersed in the experience that we didn't even notice the hours passing. We left with a wealth of knowledge and many great memories to cherish and share.

An exciting visit - The visit was exciting and allowed us to discover Hong Kong beyond what we could read alone in the guides. The visit was very complete , history , architecture, economy, culture , religion, superstition ... My two teenagers kept telling me about everything we had learned . Thanks to the valuable advice of our guide, getting around Hong Kong was very easy. It was a visit that carried us throughout the rest of the stay

Insightful tour about Hong Kong! - Alexandra is a very knowledgeable and nice guide. She has shared a lot of insightful stories about Hong Kong throughout the visit. We could visit different areas in 3h (Statue Square, HSBC tower, Standard Charter Tower, Tram, Sheung Wan, Man Mo temple, etc), which was a perfect duration for us to see and learn enough before our next activity. We highly recommend Hong Kong A La Carte for your next trip!

Brilliant introduction to Hong Kong - We had a lovely time with Alexandra on our first day in Hong Kong, travelling as a family of 3, with our 15-year-old daughter. This was a fantastic introduction to the City. Alexandra told us all about the history of Hong Kong and gave us lots of information on its architecture too. Alexandra is very well-informed, has huge insight, she is a smiley and considerate guide. We recommend her highly.

Fantastic guided tours of Hong Kong - We had the chance to visit as a family: Macau (one day) with Michel, Hong Kong (3 hours tour) with Alexandra and a fantastic hike (one day) with Stéphanie in the new territories. Thanks to our three “Hong Kong à la carte” guides, we had a fantastic vacation, full of anecdotes not found in paper guides. We were really amazed by the quality of the visits, the enormous flexibility and the ability to adapt well to our group. We highly recommend the Hong Kong à la carte team!

A family trip to Kowloon, Hong Kong - After meeting at the clock tower in Tsim Sha Tsui, Stephanie, our guide, explained the history of Hong Kong to us, from the Opium Wars to the current geopolitical context.
We then visited the district: the clock tower, a vestige of the old railway station, the Cultural Center (the HK Opera House) which replaced the station, the headquarters of the old maritime police, Heritage 1881 and the Peninsula Hotel.
We then took the metro to visit the Wong Tai Sin temple, including its origin and popularity over the years. We talked about legends, Chinese astrological signs and local superstitions.
We then saw several halls and the different symbols linked to Buddhism, Confucianism, Taoism and Feng Shui (the 5 elements) before visiting the pretty garden.
We took the MTR back to Chi Lin Nunnery and Nan Lian Garden in Diamond Hill. We discussed the principles of classic Chinese gardens (rocks, trees, water, pavilions) and Feng Shui (water, wind, Qi and the 5 elements).
And that’s where we ended our beautiful walk.

Great themed visit - Stephanie took my father visiting HK and me, a resident for 12 years, on a World War II themed tour and we had a great time!
The explanations were very interesting and the remains that Stephanie showed us were incredible.
I will definitely call on Stéphanie to try the other guided tours offered by Hong Kong à la Carte!
