Must do! - Stephen was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, taking us to places we would have never gone to. The food center and tea shop were a highlight! I highly recommend this tour especially if its your first time in Hong Kong.

Excellent food tour - This was an excellent food tour with lots of stops for different food both sweat and savoury as well as different teas. Simeone was brilliant, friendly and informative about food and history in Bong Kong. Had a great time. There were about 10 people in our group which I think was an ideal size and nice to chat to other people visiting Hong Kong too. Would deffo recommend.

Varied overview/introduction to local food and drink culture - Despite not being able to find the meeting point (the tour instructions are primarily aimed at people arriving at the MTR station by train whereas I had been exploring the local area of foot during the morning), overall I enjoyed this 3-hour introduction to HK’s food and drink scene. Our guide Michael was very gracious and patient in contacting me by phone and agreeing a different RV point for me close to the first stop on the itinerary, where I was able to join the group. He guided us with humour and evidenced a good understanding of the local cuisine. I tried many things that I would probably not have done had I not signed up for the tour. However, I was also pleased that Michael recognised the sensitivity surrounding some delicacies like shark’s fin. You get to try to mix of different sweet and savoury dishes, and different types of tea. Unfortunately for reasons that have absolutely nothing to do with the tour I felt unwell half way through and left just before the last stop. Had I been feeling 100% I am sure I would have enjoyed the afternoon much more, although this has not resulted in a lower rating for the tour. Maybe next time?!

Great intro to Hong Kong food options - For me, I wish the group didn’t have 18 people in it. I’d have been much happier with no more than 12 people and wish the size of the group had been communicated earlier. I would have opted not to go with such a large group. Michael was great at trying to give everyone enough attention but some people capitalized his time more than others. The food choices were very good, tasted great, covered a diverse area with interesting histories. It was just hard to hear sometimes, fit in certain spaces, and follow everything because of the group size.

An Exceptional Hong Kong Street Food Tour with Summer - Our street food tour with Summer was one of the absolute highlights of our time in Hong Kong. She may be young, but she guides with the confidence, knowledge, and warmth of someone who has been doing this for decades. From the very first moment, Summer created an atmosphere that was friendly, relaxed, and genuinely fun. What truly sets her apart is her deep understanding of local food culture. She didn’t just take us from stall to stall — she told the stories behind each dish, explained the traditions, and introduced us to vendors she clearly knows and respects. Every stop felt authentic, carefully chosen, and full of character. Summer has a natural talent for reading the group’s energy. She adjusted the pace perfectly, answered every question with enthusiasm, and made sure everyone felt included. Her recommendations were spot‑on, and thanks to her, we tasted dishes we would never have discovered on our own. Beyond the food, Summer gave us a richer sense of Hong Kong’s neighborhoods, history, and daily life. Her passion for her city is contagious, and her professionalism is outstanding. If you want a street food tour that is authentic, insightful, and led by someone who truly cares, ask for Summer. She made our experience unforgettable, and we would book with her again without hesitation.

Lack lustre and lacking in variety. - Not the best food tour I have been on, one thing that stood out was lack of any water provided, considering it's 3 hours long. Absolutely don't go on the tour if you don't eat fish or seafood or if you are vegetarian as there will be almost nothing for you. I'm not convinced that what we saw was the full spectrum of asian food available - nor were we taught any of the Chinese wordsor phrases for any of the dishes we may want to ask for whilst venturing out on our own. It left me none the wiser as to what to eat or where to go in Hong Kong to try their best food.
