On the return, visit a Sámi Siida near Skarsvåg, where the Somby family warmly welcomes guests into their traditions. Step inside their lávvu, taste reindeer meat and Sámi cake (sweet bread), learn about their 8 seasons as reindeer herders, and discover how the traditional joik originates from nature and emotion. Guests will also have the opportunity to try lasso throwing, a cherished Sámi skill.
