The port offers a Handicare Shuttle that can transport passengers from their ship to the main port area; however, as an independent operator, this shuttle cannot be arranged on their behalf. The drive from the cruise ship port to the harbor takes 5-10 minutes. The tour lasts 3 hours (30 minutes for round trip transportation and 2.5 hours of whale watching). Guests may see Humpback whales, porpoise, sea otters, eagles, seals, brown bear, deer and, possibly, orcas. There is no telling what wildlife may be encountered while out on tour. The vessel is a 38 foot Power Cat featuring inside seating, a heated cab, and an aft deck for wildlife viewing. A restroom with a marine head is available on board.
