Favorite site - This was my favorite attraction on my 11 day visit to Canada with the Pennsylvania Happy Travelers. The lady ranger was a teriffic guide. She made the visit exciting and interesting.

Visit at both low and high tide - This provincial park is well worth the visit. We really enjoyed walking up to and gazing up at the "flower pot" geological formations up close at low tide (basically "no" tide). It's amazing to observe the difference later in the afternoon to see the same areas during high tide from higher ground. Recommendations: check low and high tide times in advance, go in the morning and explore at low tide, drive to Alma for lunch and/or go to hiking in Fundy National Park, and then go back and explore Hopewell Rocks at high tide. Keep your ticket for re-entry!

Amazing Nature - It is a bit of a hike from the welcome centre to the steps going down to the ocean floor - maybe 15 minutes. There is a shuttle available for $2 each way, but my sister and I (both seniors) enjoyed the walk. It is worthwhile seeing the rocks at both high tide and low tide. This is a site not to be missed.

Beautiful Hopewell Rocks - We did this as a tour excursion from our cruise ship so we only had a couple of hours there but we were blessed to arrive as the high tide was coming in and had about 15 minutes to walk the ocean floor before the water covered it. Ranger Rick guided us through with fascinating details on the rock formations and the effects of the tides! We went down the 98 stairs and got around to the ramp as the water came higher. Ranger Rick then took us to the Interactive Center and showed us several informative and impressive videos showing the tidal change, the crashing of part of a rock formations, winter at Hopewell Rocks, and the migration of the sand pipers. Without a doubt, Ranger Rick is living and sharing his passion making this one of the most wonderful tours we have experienced.

High tide - I am so glad that we had an opportunity to see the tides on the Bay of Fundy. We timed it so that we were able to walk down on the ocean floor. I wish the park had longer hours, so that we could see the Rocks at high tide. I also was surprised that the employees didn't know much about the tidal bore that we were able to observe in downtown Moncton.

Hopewell Rocks - A must see - Hopewell Rock is a phenomenal experience. A couple of things to know: Viator voucher is super easy - you pull up the voucher go to the entrance of Hopewell Park and they give you a receipt which is your tickets for 2 days of admission. Check the time of the rides before you go - we got there early at park open (8 am) and low tide was at 9:20 so we got to walk the ocean floor. There are plenty of washrooms along the path to get to the rocks. We returned at 3 pm that same time to see it all at high tide. It is amazing the shift and tide and difference.

Great day out at Hopewell Rocks. - We were staying in Innisfree Bed and Breakfast, just a 10 minute drive away. From this major attraction. There were five large car parks which gave an early indication of its popularity. There was a well-made trail with side paths to various viewing platforms. These allowed us the first glimpse of the Bay of Fundy at high tide. Although there were quite a lot of people there, there was a very clear route to take and people moved on quite quickly once they had taken their photos. We spent a couple of hours there before heading off to Alma for lunch. We drove back to Hopewell Rocks mid afternoon to walk on the ocean floor with the tide fully out. There were some astonishing arches and stacks amongst the very peculiar rock formations. We walked the length of the estuarine shore, getting very muddy in the process. It was a good job we brought stiff brushes to clean our boots and trousers. There were facilities provided with hoses and brushes - so many thoughtful touches. We throughly enjoyed our time at the Hopewell Rocks and thought the admission fee represented very good value for money.

Rock On - Thoroughly enjoyed Hopewell Rocks. It's quite a long walk to the water so you may want to take the shuttle. Access to the rocks is limited depending on time of day when tide is out. Wear shoes you won't mind getting muddy. The admission fee was about $12 and the shuttle another $2. It gets crowded. Your ticket is good for 2 days so you can see the rocks at both tides. One thing, it says you're walking on the ocean floor. You're not. It's the Bay of Fundy. You won't see much other than mud beneath your feet. The water rushing in and out creates mud. The guide explained that to me. But it is totally worth the visit and very interesting.

Rip off - Hopewell Rocks is amazing and a must visit but just go to the park website to get your ticket. This cost more and there was no tour except what the park offers for free.
