Tour to Samaria gorge - We Chose the Bus Tour because of the Long Journey to the Gorge and the y Tour. The Bus took even longer die to the pick-ups, but they were well organised and participants we're partially brought to the Main Road in Mini buses. The hike ist a great experience. Mind still IT IS a demanding walk given the narrow time frame. I did the Tour with my ten year old so'n and he managed well, i wouldn' t Take my Younger Kids mainly because you can' Stretch ablot.

Beautiful Samaria Gorge Walk - Wear good walking shoes, pace yourself, take snacks to eat as no cafe or eatery within the Gorge itself. Be of a good fitness level, this is a 4 - 5 hour walk - ALL on uneven ground. It’s a stunning, beautiful and amazing place….. You will not be disappointed.

Gorge-ous!!! - Samaria Gorge is Beautiful and we had a great experience. The hike is no walk in the park, it is extremely challenging. Still sore 3 days later. Happy to have done it, feel extremely accomplished, but oww, oww!! Our guide Athena was Wonderful.

Hiking full of eyes - This is a hike and not a walk. I looked at a lot of sites to see if I was going to do it with my 11-year-old son and then we started. Indeed the first kilometers are difficult, it is not a walk of health, moreover it was really very hot 34 degrees felt 37. But it is doable, we were at the end in 4h15. We have beautiful things, we don't regret doing it at all. On the other hand ++ pain the next day.

Awesome Gorge - exhausting collection drive - The gorge itself is spectacular and even if the hike is exausting the views are more than wort tue effort.
The only sad thing was that the bus was pretty warm and the last Part from heraklion to malia tskes your forever because even if it says it just stops on the Main street you are driving to a lot of hotels in tiny streets where the bus nearly doesn't fit so it takes you forever.
Would be better a tiny bus collects them before and they also enter at the mainstreet as discribed

Last minute cancellation by the operator. - Tour Line the operator that Viator is agent for, cancelled 10 hours prior. " overbooked" was the reason. 5 people had been overbooked.
If they had mentioned sooner, and they were aware:" we called at the last minute just in case" I might have been able to arrange alternative solution.
Not a good experience
