We booked the Beach... - We booked the Beach Sunset Horse Riding in Punta Cana (Private Option) and had such an amazing experience from start to finish. We had a fantastic time on the tour and riding along the beach it was such a beautiful setting and a really memorable experience. The horses, Blondie and Bastillio, were lovely and very well behaved. A huge thank you to our tour guide, Juan, who was fantastic throughout the whole experience. He was so engaging, friendly and made us feel completely comfortable and relaxed. What really stood out was how well he adapted the experience for both of us I’m a more experienced rider and he tailored things to suit me, whilst also making sure my partner, who was less experienced, felt comfortable and was having a great time too. He really went above and beyond to make the tour special for us, and we honestly had such a great time because of him. We would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Punta Cana, definitely one of the highlights of our trip!

Beach - Was wonderful but didn’t get the fruit & champagne & the sunset we were promised

Great views. Watch your guide pls. - The experience was terrific however my tour guide was a little touchy and inappropriate. He seemed to always be touching me and I didn’t like it.

Beautiful beach ride, but left feeling really uneasy - The beach ride itself was beautiful, however the overall experience was disappointing and left me feeling quite uncomfortable. In my experience the “ranch” didn’t resemble what I expected and appeared quite unkept. I personally didn’t see any stables, and some of the horses appeared quite thin with visible hip bones. I also noticed at one point that horses were standing in an area where there seemed to be barbed wire which concerned me. The horses behaviour stood out to me as well. They seemed hesitant to leave the ranch, but on the way back they were moving quickly which made me question whether they were eager, all of the horses were trotting even if they had someone who had never ridden on the back. During the beach stop, I attempted to let my horse drink water but the guide repositioned the horse so it couldn’t reach the water any more. There were also some organisational issues. Our driver arrived late and had difficulty getting through hotel security which delayed the start, especially when we had to pick up additional guests along the way. The “photographer” was taking photos on an iPhone, and we weren’t shown or offered the images afterwards. Some elements listed as included weren’t provided during our experience. We weren’t offered the advertised coffee or cigar tasting. We were offered Mama Juana at a shop stop, which felt more like a sales opportunity and felt quite pressured to buy something. Overall, while the setting itself is lovely, the experience didn’t match my expectations based on the listing, and I personally left feeling uneasy about parts of the experience. I came away feeling so sorry for the horses!

Got ripped off - don't buy mama juana - Driver couldn't go through security at resort. Had to meet outside of gate. Drove to random location (not a business, but a random spot on side of road with a large group of men). Horses came randomly out of the woods after waiting like 15 minutes. Mosquitos are atrocious. Have to go through woods to get beach and got more bites than I have ever experienced in my life in the short ride on horseback. Beach was nice and photos are good but they try to swindle you and charge you $100+ for pics and one photo for $20. You do get horseback riding to the beach but if you are expecting a coordinated tour like you might get in other places... This is a very different experience.
