- Greetings from Austin Mural - What does the mural feature? Inspired by a 1940s postcard, this vibrant mural showcases Austin landmarks such as the Congress Avenue Bridge, The University of Texas Tower, and Barton Springs. It was beautifully restored in 2013, thanks to community donations. We will stop to take pictures.
- Austin - Atown is a local antique store filled with hidden treasures. This store is a must-visit and offers a unique experience.
- Lady Bird Lake Hike-and-Bike Trail - Lady Bird Lake serves as a major recreational area in Austin. The Ann and Roy Butler Hike-and-Bike Trail runs along the lake’s banks, and businesses provide recreational watercraft services along the lakefront section of the trail.

With its lively mix of bars, restaurants, and entertainment venues, it’s a great place to experience the local culture and the city’s vibrant atmosphere. - University of Texas at Austin - Established in 1883, the University of Texas at Austin is ranked among the top 40 universities worldwide.
- Willie Nelson Statue - The Willie Nelson statue, simply known as Willie, is a bronze sculpture of the iconic singer-songwriter located in Downtown Austin, Texas. Commissioned by the nonprofit organization Capital Area Statues, artist Clete Shields created this piece. We will stop to take pictures and then walk over to the Congress Bridge, which is a 5-minute walk.
- Austin - Enjoy a 45-minute lunch break near the capitol.
- Texas Capitol - The Texas Capitol is celebrated as one of the nation’s most distinguished state capitols. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1970 and became a National Historic Landmark in 1986.
- Mount Bonnell - At the summit, Covert Park offers an Austin viewpoint with 360-degree views, including the city skyline and Lake Austin. This free Mount Bonnell experience attracts both locals and tourists worldwide, offering a variety of activities. Numerous nearby Lake Austin hotels and luxury accommodations in Austin ensure a memorable stay. We will take pictures and hike up. It’s an 11-minute walk. Please wear tennis shoes if you plan to participate.
